We have used Lantz's Lakeside Plumbing twice and have been completely satisfied with the service we received.

The first time they came out we thought we needed to have our grinder pump replaced. When they checked it out the found the previous plumber we used had messed up the floats and all it needed was a cleaning and straightening of the floats. They could have gone ahead and replaced the pump and charged us a lot more. They were honest and did a great job. We haven't had a problem with the grinder pump since the worked on it over a year ago.

Today a phoned them my kitchen drain was backing up and was slow to drain. They came out and cleaned the drain and checked the grinder pump to ensure everything was still alright.

Fantastic service and friendly service personnel. They will be who we call if we have any other plumbing issues.

We called Lantz Lakeside Plumbing for service on a Thursday, man came out on Friday. Great! He said he'd work up a quote over the weekend. Great! We waited until Wednesday to call (figured he was busy, job not an emergency). Receptionist said that day & 6 more days when we called that he was working on the quote & kept promising he'd call back. Several times she said he'd call "in 30 minutes". After two weeks we gave up. A month later, my husband was in the area. Still perplexed about the situation (& in need of a plumber) he went into the Lago Vista office. A man who said he was the Comptroller said some one would call the next day. No one ever called. Fair warning to yelpers.

Adam came out on a late saturday afternoon, they were the only company that answered our call. The grinder pump went out and we couldnt use the toilet. Adam diagnosed the problem and explained how the system worked. The repair was $175 and we're very thankful for their help!

Water leak just past the water meter on the homeowners side. Called and they came right out. Family company. Nice blue van. Young man (20's) was very friendly and seemed to know what he was doing. Fortunately, he was able to pinpoint the leak in about an hour.

I called Lantz's plumbing from www.LakeTravisPlumbing.com and left a message on a Friday afternoon, and someone called me back Saturday morning (he called me from a noisy location and I couldn't hear the name of whoever called) and I set up an appointment for 1pm, as we had two faucets leaking.

At 1pm, two very young men pulled up in Lantz's plumbing van. I'm guessing they were about 20 years old. They came in and got to work. The bathroom faucet was leaking because it had the wrong type of plastic pea trap installed. I don't know why the kitchen faucet was leaking, but I believe it was missing a part (in retrospect, I should have exchanged the faucet).

These two young men spent THREE HOURS messing around with the plumbing. One of them stood around cussing in our kitchen. The two of them were having loud conversations that mostly went, "F--- this" and "F---ing that". Lots of bad language, and after three hours I was frantic for them to leave.

They presented me with a bill for $409 for fixing the leak at two faucets and checking the existing plumbing connections. This job would have taken a competent plumber less than an hour.

I asked the boys if they thought that was fair, if they'd done $409 worth of work, and they shrugged and said yes, and that I could contact their boss.

I sent Lantz's plumbing an email (using the contact form on their website at www.LakeTravisPlumbing.com) and it's been 4 days and no one has replied. Obviously, I'm very upset, and would recommend that you NOT ever use this company for your plumbing needs.

I needed an emergency repair of my sewage pump system and Lantz's response was both prompt and expertly executed. I called late on Saturday and they came and fixed the issue first thing Monday morning, without even the need for me to be present for the repairs. I would recommend their services to anyone in Lago Vista and the surrounding area.

There is not word to describe how good they are, I called an they made room for me, in 20 mn they were in my house. nice, friendly, professional and customer service oriented. they prices very reasonable the young guy who came went above and beyond to get everything resolved. They troubleshoot and cleaned the grinder outside of the house in not time. they will have my business for ever.
