I had them replace the hot water heater in my rental property, and

1..They charged me over $200 more than the most expensive plumber quoted, which I paid to avoid any hassles..
2. They did not get the proper permits required for doing the work..I got an administrative citation from Monterey County, charging me a $360 fine for not doing this legally..Permits also needed to be acquired within a 45 day period to avoid additional fines..The owner, Nick, never returned my calls..I now have to pull the permits myself at the County Offices, to avoid larger fines..

I have worked with contractors for many years and have never had any problems..

I'm guessing that the many 5 star reviews he has are from his friends and family..he is overpriced, dishonest, and doesn't stand by his work..

I had PG&E come out to turn my pilot light back on. They ended up finding a gas leak. Called Nick right away, he came out within 5 minutes. PG&E said they wouldn't turn my gas on until this was fixed. Nick jumped right on it and called the city for digging permit, have someone come out and mark digging area. He said he could take up to 5 days.. this was on a Thursday. Nick got the okay and started right away. He ended up finding out that the whole pipe needed to be replaced. I explained to him that I had a young daughter and 5 days with no home wont work for me. Nick worked until sunset. He worked hard to get my daughter and I back into out home. Everything took 3 days- re-piping, new valves on appliances and PG&E to come back out to re-inspect. Nick was very friendly, kind, fast worker and had a lot of humor to get me through this hard time. So thank you Nick! Defiantly will use this company again.

As part of a contracted project in my neighborhood, D & Marcos installed all the hot waters on my street. Every day they arrived promptly, completed their work swiftly and efficiently, were very friendly and always cleaned up after each day. When they installed my hot water heater, they took the time to introduce themselves, explain the process, completed quality work and did not leave a mess, all while being super friendly when they saw me throughout the day. Great work and amazing customer service, highly recommend these guys for any water heater installation or plumbing issues.

I would highly recommend Nick for several reasons. Nick was professional and courteous and always returned my calls and texts right away to set up the appointment and he even gave me a heads up when he would be arriving today and he came on time. He was very experienced and knew immediately why my kitchen sink was leaking and he replaced the garbage disposal quickly and efficiently. On top of that he did a very thorough check of all of the pipes and hoses to make sure that everything was going to be in good working order before he left. He discovered a hose that was damaged and he made arrangements to return on Monday to fix it when he gets the replacement parts. Also, he installed a shower handle very efficiently. He bought only the part he needed and was able to find a new handle that matched the old one perfectly. He was honest and kept his word and did what he said he was going to do. He was very pleasant and he went the extra mile to do excellent work.

Nick from Landmark came to our place to fix our kitchen sink that was leaking. He was able to figure out the problem in literally less than a minute. He replaced our whole faucet and made sure everything was working accordingly. Explained everything to me before he did the work and kept a clean work area. Overall great experience. Nick came to our house today to replace a leaking water heater. He was awesome, Not only did he respond rapidly, he replaced the waterheater
in one hour, explained everything in detail, left the place clean and dry
and was very polite.

Joe M. came to replace our water heater last week. He was incredibly genuine, mindful and went above and beyond in the service he provided. We have been experiencing an issue (cigarette smoke seeping from the apartment below us into our apartment via various fixtures surrounding our water heater) in our apartment for nearly 3 years that the rental company has failed to address. Joe was only responsible for replacing the water heater but quickly identified our issue, diagnosed the source of the problem and proceeded to caulk all areas where air was seeping through. It now appears to be a non-issue.

On top of the service he provided, his overall professionalism was also noteworthy. Joe was incredibly respectful of our space. His actions were very thoughtful and he made me feel comfortable from the first interaction.

$100 for less than 5 minutes to turn on water heater. Ridiculous. All he did was hold a button down and turn nob - followed instructions. I should of done myself but was scared. What a rip off!!! Not sure how he sleeps at night after that.
