My husband and I returned from a trip to find our kitchen flooded from a leaky water heater. We called Hamlet and didn't believe him when he said he would arrive within half an hour but, to our surprise, he actually did.

Not only was Hamlet pleasant and professional, he was very affordable and he and his colleague had our new water heater installed and ready for use in no time at all. No mess, no drama, great service. Thank you Hamlet!

I cannot recommend Hamlet more highly! He deserves every one of these five stars.

We had a nasty clog in our bathroom drains that caused water to back up from our master bathroom shower and drain in to our bathtub. We waited and waited for another service provider we contacted. After several hours that guy called and told us he couldn't possibly get to us today. Not good news, especially since we had to treat our bathrooms as ""out of service"" until the matter was resolved.

We finally consulted the Yelp gods and they agreed that Hamlet would be a good person to contact. We couldn't have fared better. He was at the house within 30 minutes of being contacted and done in an hour, all at a very reasonable price. Best of all, he was Johnny On The Spot on a *Saturday.*

I like to think I'm not normally a moron. However, between Holiday travel, a sick toddler and working full time, I was not at my best yesterday. First, I did a really dumb thing by pulling my car too close to the house nicking a hose bib, and breaking the pipe inside the wall of the house. My two year old excitedly declared that ""it's raining!"". I managed to have the presence of mind to shut off the water to the house, but then I was at a loss. Yelp to the rescue. Found Hamlet and LA Affordable within minutes, called them, and Hamlet was on his way. He got to the house within thirty minutes. Repair involved making a hole in the exterior wall, but the work was done quickly, cleanly and efficiently. His rate was very fair and I was grateful.

However, an hour later, the dishwasher wouldn't start. Damn yelp and damn Hamlet, he must have cut off the water to the dishwasher! I called at 10:00 at night. He answered and promised to come back the next morning to check it out, but tried to assure me he hadn't touched the dishwasher. Yeah right. The cynic in me was sure he'd done something that had broken the dishwasher! True to his word, at 8:00 am the next morning he came by. Um...The dishwasher had come unplugged and Hamlet very kindly plugged it back in for me at no charge. He didn't even roll his eyes at me. I'm a moron. Hamlet has earned every one of these five stars and will be my first and last call for all my plumbing needs.
