Krupp Whitney came to our home closing to do a sewer inspection, and I was so impressed with their ease of scheduling that we used them to repair our sewer line. Everyone I worked with and met at Krupp Whitney was fantastic. Very professional, they use email (and respond quickly!), and transparent. I don't know a ton about plumbing services, but if we ever need anything else, Nathan would be the first person I'd call.

Thanks everyone!!

Sometimes the best services are located in your own neighborhood without even realizing it. I had been having trouble with a toilet latch value and called them last week. Originally scheduled an apt for Wed morning but when I woke up this morning, the latch had broken.

I called them and a serviceman named Tim came out to help me the same day. They do have 24 hour answering service but if you can hold out until the weekdays then obviously you save money.

He diagnosed the problem, asked me if I still wanted a white handle which I replied yes and then went and got one for me. Toilet working again. My bill came to $145.00 so I needed that explained to me. I was told that the majority of it was for the service call and of course the part which they get at one of their plumbing supply stores. He told me they don't use a home improvement chain since I know we have a Busy Beaver in the Crafton Ingram Shopping Center. He also told me they don't charge ""drive time"" costs just to come to your home.

I asked about the repair warranty and was told it was a year. I paid it and discussed a problem I tend to have on occasion with my bathroom sink getting clogged with soap scum. He told me to call anytime and they would be glad to look at it.

I wasn't given a price estimate before the work but sometimes that's the nature of the beast. I like the fact that they are located near the Ingram bus way stop so it's only a 5 minute drive to my Crafton home and I can get service fairly quickly.

Time will tell as I utilize their services for my plumbing needs to see how efficient and cost saving this company is to me. They offer everything you would possibly need including replacement hot water tanks. Tim was very friendly to me and very professional. So far I am pleased with the work accomplished within a reasonable amount of time.

We seem to have more plumbing issues than any other house related service. We've used three different plumbing services. I used Patrick E Chase Plumbing and he was spotty with communication and did an okay job. Then we used South Hills Plumbing and they fixed an issue that needed fixed 2 years later. Was this their fault or regular wear and tear, not sure. Then we used Mr. Rooter for a major emergency with our pipes in the basement and they were mega expensive and spotty with communication so I was ready to try another company.

I called late in the day and they returned my call the next day, but didn't have an appointment until 2 days later. Our toilet was broken, but we have another one so It wasn't an emergency situation. The guy that showed up was super nice, professional and quick. I truly appreciate that he explained the issue and fixed another one that he noticed, which I truly believe wasn't an up-charge, but needed fixed. The cost was $185 for the two issues, plus service. Mr. Rooter quoted me $250, plus parts. So clearly this company was less... and Rooter came to my house and tried to convince me to just get a new toilet for $350+. No thanks!

I will definitely call them again for non-emergency situations!

I was in a pinch on a flip just prior to closing. The home inspection found roots and cracks in the 65-year old sewage lines under the asphalt driveway and behind the house to the main sewer line. The buyers preferred contractor (who claims to be lower cost because he is not one of the big nationwide franchises) quoted $18,000 to do the repairs under the garage and driveway with their trenchless service and replace the old line behind the house. I have a preferred plumber who can be found in Franklin Park that always does great work at an honest price for me but he doesn't do the trenchless repairs. I asked if he would do the end of driveway to the main if I could find another plumber to do the trenchless work and he said yes. I contacted several plumbers in the area including the buyers preferred plumber (who claims to be the best in the business) and no one was interested. When I reached out to the professionals at KW they immediately accepted my request. In the end the plumbing problems were repaired withing one week and I saved $8,000 over the original quote. I would recommend them to anyone after that camera test comes back with an $18,000 quote.

DO NOT LET THESE PEOPLE ANYWHERE NEAR YOUR HOME!
2 employees who looked like they just graduated high school came onto my property and just started digging WITH NO One Call apparently, dug up my electric line, did not apologize, no explanation, then just left for a few hours to avoid the power company who was fixing their incredibly negligent mistake (I actually just feel fortunate they didn't hit the nearby gas line). No one came back the next day so I had to track down the owner - yes - THE OWNER - and he said they would not complete the job because they underbid the job. I have 2 toddlers and they left and 11 ft hole, completely uncovered, in my yard. If you would like more details about just how bad it got PLEASE message me - these people are NOT professional or responsible, they take NO responsibility or pride in their work and are not only extremely unethical but also just plain dangerous. Please message me for pictures (I have plenty) and for recommendations on reliable companies.

This company did two jobs for me. The first one was a scope of the sewer line on a property I was in the process of purchasing. I was very happy with the person who came out. He was helpful and informative. I would definitely recommend them for this service. The second job was to fix my shower and tub which no water was coming out of. We had some miscommunication and initially I was dissatisfied. I talked with Nathan and he made it right immediately. He was kind, courteous, and took my concerns seriously. Given this, I would use them again and would recommend them to others.

This plumbing company was amazing to work with and had very good rates with a spot on estimate. Super polite and unobtrusive, and finished in a timely fashion.
