Third update! I got to spend some more quality time with Mike from KP Drains on 2/24/22 after my sewer main was completely clogged (picture the horror of flushing the toilet and it coming out the bathroom sink!) Mike appropriately diagnosed the issue within minutes, reassuring me the pipe hadn't broken under the house. Being a new-to-us home, it's getting used to us as much as we are it. The plumbing had what was estimated at a decade+ of toilet paper, women's sanitary products, and rust from the cast iron being changed to PVC above ground. It took two hours to get the drain cleared, but Mike knew exactly what he needed to do and was patient and pleasant while he worked. While I truly hope this is the last time I have Mike at my house for anything other than a beer for a very long time, I know who I'll be calling need be.

Had a situation the past week which KP drains came out to fix amazingly quickly, we were referred to them by our plumber (Kevin Scott) and their tech came out, fixed the issue, provided tips on how to avoid that situation in the future. The tech was here in less than an hour from calling and our issue resolved quickly.

We had a clogging problem, worse than the Geico commercial - a DRY clog of paper that had packed into the pipe, who knows how long it had been there. KP Drains sent Andrew, who arrived right away and went to work on our system. He went above and beyond - he would NOT give up. It took a few HOURS to get the pipe clear but he did it, and cleaned up afterward! The two crazy cat ladies in the big purple house THANK YOU so much! In the end - the bill surprised both of us - we thought the charge would be higher! Merry Christmas, Andrew and the rest of the KP Drains crew!

When you find your basement flooded, you know it will be a bad day. Then KP Drains comes in and fix it for you quickly and politely. They walked me through the issue and the fix, were done very fast and cleaned up the mess. I cannot tell you how much better they made the whole day. Also, they were recommended by two other companies (one plumber and one other drain company!!) for being fast and not break the bank. Couple of hundred later (honestly significantly cheaper than I expected) and it is all better. Highly recommend.

The people at KP are the very best Plumbers I've ever dealt with by far. I've had 3 different pool company's come to my house and just could not figure out why I was getting no suction and nothing but air bubbles. They all had suggestions and theory's, but none of them could fix it. I was referred to KG by a friend. I called them at 8:30 this morning and by 9:30 the man was in my yard looking at it. His name was Mike and he was super nice and professional. Unlike the others who came and did all kinds of test Mike did not give up. He eventually figured it out (small pen hole size leak in the pipe). My water is gushing like never before. Thanks so much Mike and to KP Drains you get a 5 star rating from this guy.

Andrew showed up in 45 minutes. Snaked a main line from the tank side as there is no access port that we could find and cleared the clog. Price was reasonable and we're very happy with the service.

How refreshing: a plumbing company that is punctual, courteous, competent, and DOESN'T overcharge out the wazoo! We came back from vacation to find our kitchen sink overflowing. The property management company referred us to Drain Doctor, which turned out to be a completely dysfunctional mess (review to come), and then a different person in the same p.m.c. referred us to a different plumbing company which, because they don't do drain work on weekends, referred us to KP Drains.

OMFG, what a night and day difference vs Drain Doctor! KP Drains sent out someone within a little over an hour---Andrew was pleasant, professional, and got the job done quickly and efficiently. Wish we had just known about KP Drains from the get go, would've saved us a huge PITA. I'd give them 10 stars if I could!

Update on my earlier KP Drains review: when I finally resolved my problem - after buying a brand new toilet at KP Drains' recommendation - I learned that if the KP Drains technician had merely turned my toilet upside down, he would have found what I said was likely the source of the problem all along; my autistic sons' eyeglasses.
In other words I didn't need a new toilet after all. The paperwork on the technician's work did not indicate the turn-it-upside-down work was done although the person I phoned to discuss this on the phone said he knows this was done, and that the firm stands by its work.

Again the firm is well intentioned and responsive, but as a homeowner who isn't a drain or plumbing expert, I rely on the experts to think holistically to solve my problem. Caveat emptor in this case.
