I would give Zero Stars if I could. I have a Choice Home Warranty and they sent Kintex Plumbing for my old gas water heater that would not come on. The gas company had first installed a new Digital Meter and I first called gas company a few day after the Meter installed because the water heater was not coming on. They sent their technician (certified Plumber) and he checked the flow through the new meter and he said it was functioning correctly. He then checked my water heater and determined that the Temp Gas Control Valve had stopped regulating the temperature. The piolet would stay lit but would not come on. The Gas Co. Technician said that the Temp Gas Control Valves wear out and need to be replace. So I put in a claim with Choice Home Warranty and the Kintex Plumber came out 2 days later. I talked to 2 different people from Kintex before the plumber came and told them what the Gas Co. Technician said and what was wrong with the Water heater. The plumber showed up and I told him again what the Gas Co. Technician said and he seemed like he didn't understand what I had just explained to him. He went into my attic and said "WOW this is old and not to code and I don't think I can work on it." He also said it didn't have the Fire Chamber and Door/Sight Glass. I said yes it is old and that when it was installed it was to CODE. He then preceded to take the Cover off the Pilot and Fire Chamber and threw it down. He then States the Pilot is lit? I told he yes I know I told you all this before you came up here. He then took pictures leaving the pilot lit and said I will send this into the Home Warranty and we will schedule a time. He submitted something to the Choice Home Warranty but was inadequate and had to submit more. He sated in his report to Choice Home warranty that the water heater was missing the Fire chamber door and the Temp Knob was broken. Choice Home Warranty came back and stated that since parts are missing and the Temp Knob was broken they would not fulfill the Warranty due to not being part of Normal Wear and Tear. I had to appeal and Choice told me to go pay for my on Diagnostic and submit it to Choice and they would reevaluate the Claim. The plumber came out and stated that there are no missing parts and that the Temp valve was broken but Choice will not be reimbursing me due to what the Kintex Plumber said. It was hot that day and the Kintex Plumber got there late and I don't think he wanted to work in my attic so he did subpar job. He didn't do any diagnostic and stated things that were very Inaccurate so he didn't have to work on my Water heater. Don't use Kintex Plumbing!

Came out to the house and ended up needing new toilets said that my warranty covered them and that he would be in touch to make the appointment. A week and a half goes by and I don't hear anything at all from him or the Warranty people. So I call the plumber and he said that the service plan doesn't cover the toilets! And I'm just now hearing this? So I called the Warranty people and I said why would you say it's covered that day but now it's suddenly not covered? So they both dropped the ball on this deal and they both get one star. I told the plumbers if they give me my $65 back for this useless service call I would drop it unless they do then they are going to get bad reviews because they didn't do anything nothing at all! So I do not recommend them for plumbing! Plus my original appointment was rescheduled three times before they finally did come.

Terrible customer service. Canceled on me 3 times. They were called out through my Choice Home Warranty plan. Will never call them again. Will get someone else to fix my leak.

This company is a total rip off!! DO NOT use them!! Cinch home warranty sent them out to fix a leak in our shower. The first idiot sat in his mini van for half an hour then said he had to get approval to cut a hole in our garage ceiling. (He never even went upstairs to look at our shower) A few days later they send another idiot out named Pedro. He cuts a hole in our ceiling and says "he has to order parts" A few days later we get an invoice for $345.00 for pipes $195 and $150 to cut through the wood beam in our ceiling. They will not start the job until we pay that amount out of our pocket. We have already paid $165.00 to home warranty. I was told that they will charge the home owner extra fees that home warranty won't cover because it takes so long to get paid. We did not pay them the $345.00. We called John Moore plumbing (Free estimates) and was told our rubber gasket was bad. We ordered one on Amazon for $10.28. My husband put the new gasket in the shower drain and never needed access through the garage ceiling. Our shower no longer leaks. This company needs to be put out of business so they can't scam anyone else!!

My hotwater heater went out and my home service insurer, American Home Shield, contacted Kintex to provide the service needed. The worker came out and advised I needed a new hot water heater. He had to go get one and the one he got barely fit in the space occupied by the previous hot water heater. He said he'd have to charge me extra for having to make adjustments for the new sized heater. He pulled the piping going up into the attic up about 1-2 inches. Then he proceeded to create a pvc piping system (not sure of its purpose but the old heater had a metal pipe that went through the sheetrock) and ran it down to the garage floor and extended out over the ledge into the flooring area where verhicle parks. It looks tacky and I worry about tripping over it every time I go into my garage. For this, they charged me an extra $550.00. I am stupid for ever having paid that much but at the time I was in a wheelchair and on pain pills due to a vehicle accident. And I am in my 70's. I feel this company took advantage of me. I would give them a minus 10 rating if that were possible. If you ever have dealings with them, I would suggest questioning every single item they suggested.

If I could put no stars I would. I had the worst experience with these plumbers that came out from this company. They were subcontracted from an insurance that I have. The first day they came out the plumber lied to me and said that he had to go buy a part would return to fix my toilet. and he never came back, when I called the office, they said that he had gone out and had to go order the part yet he never had the decency to call me and tell me that he was no longer going to show up that day. The next thing was that they came back to fix my original problem, which was stoppage and flooding in my master bathroom , when they came back to fix the toilet issue, they literally broke off a piece of my toilet, and they still wanted me to pay for a new toilet when they had broken it. Yes, my toilet supposedly was messed up but it was not broken when they came in to fix it , as of now, I still haven't had any resolve with them and this has been months ago. I feel like I do not need to pay for the toilet, especially because they broke a piece off. They say
that I need to pay for a new toilet, because my toilet was messed up prior to them breaking it.

After the freeze, the water pressure became very low. The same problem occurred during the blizzard in Houston. I contacted my home warranty company, Cinch. Cinch assigned the job to Kintex Plumbing Company. Once the technician arrived and assessed the problem, it was determined that the home warranty company would not cover the issue. I explained to the technician that the last time I had the problem with the water pressure, the plumber who came out cleaned the debris from the pipes and the water pressure was restored. The Kintex technician didn't listen but told me that my faucets would have to be replaced and he could not guarantee that would fix the problem. I declined what he proposed.

I called another plumbing company the technician cleared the pipes and did not tell me that my faucets needed to be replaced. I was quoted outrageous prices to replace faucets. Either the Kintex technician just did not know what was right or was trying to take advantage of me as a woman.

Crooks and liars! Did not complete service and left me hanging for 3 weeks with no bathroom plumbing. Did not replace toilet correctly so now it is wobbly. Never use this company again!
