DONT DO IT! I am writing this review because we were scammed by this company. They sound like they know what they are talking about when they are in your house. We had a clog issue in our kitchen sink and it was overflowing near my water softener from a pipe coming out of the wall. They charged me 1,300 dollars to remove the water softener and then the issue was worse. At the end of it we paid 1700 dollars and they will not do anything to help refund our money for falsifying the problem. They expect you to know the plumbing issues. Don't waste your money with these guys. Legal action will be taken.

Kinsey Plumbing saved our marriage! For two years I had like warm water. My husband tried all kinds of plumbers to fix our water problems. Finally he called Kinsey plumbing. John & Johnny stayed extra late to get us hot water. pure joy to have a hot shower! They even arranged for us to get a grinder. Carrying a yucky strainer across the kitchen was not my ga protect thing to do. Now I don't have to. Nothing but good service!!

Very negative experience. Said they would be out between 3 and 6 PM. Came after 6. I had told them I would need washer faucets/valves replaced. They came without the parts to perform the repairs. They said they would send another plumber with parts the next day and quoted me $448. They came the next day but again, without the parts they knew they needed to perfrom the repairs, and then quoted me over $800 for the work. We looked up the average cost of the same repairs in Central Texas and the high end was about $250. The extreme price difference made no sense so I declined to have them do the work. They charged me $39. I wasted two days and $39. It seems clear that Kinsey Plumbing is over-charging their customers. I would not recommend them.

They quoted an exorbitant $325 labor just to replace the provided kitchen faucet. I asked their hourly labor rate and was told there wasn't one.
I paid $39 for the service call and sent them on their way.

Unfortunately we have had several needs for plumbing services in the past 12 months. We went with Reliant last year and that was a very poor experience on many levels--cost, service, result, etc. While I can often do most home plumbing repairs - replace toilets, snake lines 25', blow out A/C lines, etc---we had a leak in the wall from a toilet line and needed someone fast. Sound familiar? Called at 1:00pm, Kinsey/Manny Amezquita arrived within 2 hours, diagnosed the problem ($40 dispatch fee/$160 fee to open wall). Had to come back to have work done the next morning so kept water shut off which sucked; but, repair needed to the 1 pipe that was leaking--required soldering--and 2 other pipes looked ready to go so we had all 3 repaired. While any unexpected cost is "costly" we were comfortable with $$ and work was done efficiently and effectively.

BEWARE THIS COMPANY! If you don't do your research, they will trick you into paying hundreds of dollars in parts and repairs that you don't need.

Just last week, I called to have them come to check on the Presure Vacuum Breaker that connects to my sprinkler system. They quoted me $1,800.00+ dollars to replace the pipes and the breaker. That breaker was easily fixed in 10 minutes with a part that was ordered on Amazon.com for $50.00. It was that easy and that cheap.

Of course, I'm not calling them again... EVER.

They are way too expensive. Repairing a main water valve cost over $1000. Ridiculous cost...

I made an appointment with Kinsey Plumbing Services to replace a toilet and vanity for my powder room. They list bathroom remodel on their website. I have all the materials. When the technician arrived, he said that he did not have adhesive to install the sink portion of the vanity, but could do everything else for $1500. This seems ridiculous for an incomplete job. Then, without asking for it, he gave me a quote to replace my water softener for $7500. I simply wanted a functional powder room.

Had a uniquely pleasant experience with a plumbing company this week. Jason Pool from Kinsey Plumbing provided us the honest, quick, professional, and friendly service we often hope for but rarely get. I'm not one to write reviews, but our satisfaction with Kinsey merits 5 Stars. We cannot recommend them more. Ensure to ask for Jason.

Very pricey for a 5 minute job. Plastic cup stuck in a garbage disposal and it took about 5 minutes, the cost was close to $200.00. I should have said no and called someone else. I am new to the area and didn't have anyone to ask for a referral. I wont be referring this company.
