Ernest Kelly and his wife Vivian founded Kelly Plumbing in 1928 from their house in Monroe, LA. Because of Ernest's talents, affordable pricing, and excellent craftsmanship, his plumbing service withstood the Great Depression. Post World War II, Ernest's offspring, Ernest Jr. and Bob Sr., became part of the business as licensed plumbers. The siblings expanded with new construction, including remodels and additions in alongside plumbing fixes. With a dedication to homeowners only in West Monroe, the service flourished. By the year 1974, Bob Sr.'s child Bobby Jr. started working for his parent and relative after school and during the summer. In 1994, Bobby Jr. became the owner of Kelly Plumbing. As a third-gen expert plumber and operator, Bobby enhanced the company's capacity by introducing heavy machinery, inspection cameras, and high-pressure jetters to their inventory. Bobby brought on 4th generation licensed plumber and child Robby to his staff in 2002.

Bobby Kelly is the current operator and third-generation of Kelly Plumbing. Bobby became the owner of the company in 1994 but has been active in plumbing all of his career, training under his parent and ancestor who founded the business in 1928.
