My son just bought a house and his water heater broke. Mike called and fit us in the next day, so early I'm sure it was before his workday would normally start. He was reasonable, quick, efficient and easy to deal with. He even called and said he was stuck in traffic and would be arriving a little late. Great customer service. As a Realtor I deal with a lot of plumbers, and with the service Kellems provided, I will only be using and referring Kellems moving forward!

Had a shower that had a slow drip when shut off and YouTube made changing out the cartridge look easy. So I gave it a shot. Fast forward to the cartridge being so corroded and locked in place that it broke in half when I tried to remove it. After telling my wife that the water would be off for much longer than anticipated, I began dialing for plumbers. I called the guy I used before, but he couldn't make it today and going without water over night just wasn't an option for a happy marriage, so called a couple of the ""big guys"" and they wouldn't even give an idea of pricing over the phone without sending a tech out with a $99 service fee.

I called Kellems and Mike was able to give me a reasonable quote right then and said Bill would be out this afternoon. Bill was great; very conscientious and professional, he left the shower fixtures looking better than they did when he arrived.

These gentlemen were professional, courteous and respectful of our flooring and cabinets when fixing our kitchen drain.
Mike answered the phone right away, stated he'd be out after call he was heading to, but our issued needed to wait until the next day due to an appointment we had previously set. We got to pick the time we needed him to come out on a Saturday. Ladies, you can feel comfortable having these men in your home. There's no hard sales, total confidence in their work and no hidden costs.
Kellem's will be our go to plumber when needed and we cannot wait to share this plumbing company with our family and friends.

I asked on my local neighborhood page for recommendations for a good plumbing and leak detection company. Kellems Plumbing was recommended to me by a neighbor. I explained our situation and he was an excellent listener, empathetic to our problems, and very efficient. He immediately noticed that there was a leak behind our toilet and he identified a slab leak that a company that the insurance company hired missed! He repaired the slab leak and toilet leak. I just hired Michael Kellem's for the first time. I purchased a home in Rancho Bernardo and needed to correct plumbing defiencies that home inspector found. He did great work and corrected additional problems, i.e. under kitchen sink shut off valves didn't work. Installed water pressure regulator with one that will be very easy for me to place in the future. I definitely recommend him.
