May 27th Joseph , the tech, came to my house,,.. I was having a difficult time turning an outside faucet on/off!! He put a NEW handle on it & charged me $126.... IT IS STILL DIFFICULT TO TURN!! I contacted the company to talk to the Manager. He/she NEVER called me back!!! Also Joseph took one of my wrenches & it took about two weeks to get it back!! THEY wanted ME to write this,, that's why THEY never called back.. Don't use these people!! Michael/Winder, GA p.s. that's and EXPENSIVE handle

Keep Smiling is a great plumbing company and do great work. The only problem is they are like the mythical cable guy. The make appointments and just don't show up. IF they finally show up they are a """"day late and a dollar short"""". I would not recommend them to anyone.

The good: I was first pleased with Gingers professional demeanor and politeness. She even went over some key points about how to keep kitchen sinks pipes from clogging up in the future. I booked the appointment! The bad: They never showed up. This incident is far too common and very unsettling for busy consumer trying to get projects completed in a timely manner. Only to be consistently disappointed with techs that have no value for your time! Can I charge a no-show fee? Can I recoup my valuable time for free services? Of course not, but what I can do is warn the next consumer wanting to seek """"keep smiling plumbing for services because I am not smiling.

Melvin, It absolutely disappointing to hear that you have been in business since 1985, and the way that you conduct business is by responding to a review on Yelp. As the business owner, I would encourage you to look into the details before jumping on Yelp and responding to my review. I don't have a basement sir. In addition, I have cameras all throughout my house first floor and at my front door. Would you like me to post what really transpired? Not looking for anything for free, I am grateful that your guy came out and helped my mother. I'm looking for some type of accountability for the additional charges. Glad that you felt a $53 credit took care of this matter. Thank you for being so concerned it shows.

Dillon Dobbs was the most amazing plumber/technician. He was nice, professional, courteous, respectful of our property, and very patient. He explained everything he was doing, and answered all of our questions. After 17 years of not having a plumber I can trust, I will now be using Dillon for all of our plumbing needs. I couldn't be happier with his service. I highly recommend!!

We had multiple issues to be dealt with, including replacing a kitchen faucet and hooking up our refrigerator's water line for ice. Our technician was prompt and business-like, detailing all of the charges before completing the work. I would definitely recommend, if you're looking for plumbing services.

Professionalism at its best when it comes to plumbing. Prompt and cleanliness. If you are needing your plumbing done right and priced in your budget call this company.Honesty is what I love.

We had the pleasure of meeting Dan as our technician. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable. We were frustrated after having another company come out and quote us three times higher than what it should be. Dan gave us what I knew was a more reasonable quote, he was very pleasant and got the job done properly and quickly. Happy to find them and will use them again!

We have a shower that over a long period of time kept developing leaks from the faucet stems wearing out. The old style hot and cold handles when tightened over a long period of time wore down the stems. Smiley had changed the stems once before about 4 years prior. Upon arrival their plumber, John suggested we consider going to a single handle valve so the same problem would not come up again. To be fair he did tell me the price. It would be $1,256.00. Just after he started I asked how long the job should take. """"About 2 hours,"""" was the answer. The bill I got had 2 line items. The part was $168.00, which I think was very reasonable. The remaining part of the bill of $1,088.00 was 100% for the plumbers installation time to do it. John's actual time for completion was 2 hours and 55 minutes. The next day I called Smiling to see if the job that worked out to an installation charge of $544.00/hr on the """"book time"""" for the job to $365.00 for the actual time on the job was correct. I spoke with William. He was immovable, that was the price. He didn't want to acknowledge that bottom line, the math noted above was a valid and reasonable way for one to look at the cost of the job. Stated that """"no reputable plumbing Co. would charge on an hourly basis."""" HMMM! The charge is based on a plumbing manual assignment of time for said job. He indicated the the actual time John took was a little longer than the norm, which would mean the $544.00/ hour was closer to the expected norm. My opinion is that if they are looking at 2 hours of time to complete a plumbing job, then that cost is unreasonably high and that it should be reasonable to reassess the charge. The plumbing job was well done by John. No complaint on the quality of work. I had to do the dry walling of the hole left from the dry wall cut out. Not a problem for me, but feel it should have been clear that that important part of the completion of the job is 100% on the home owner.

We have been using these folks for over 20 years now, and never had a problem. I do most of the plumbing tasks around our house, so we only call them when something is going seriously wrong, and they have always shoehorned us into their schedule. Great family business, with good folks who absolutely know what they are doing. We have never had to have them come out a second time because a repair didn't work the first time. For a plumber, that's incredibly important. Middle of the road prices for top of the line service.
