Left a message and a call back number for the business at 9:31 a.m. for a slow draining toilet. Three days later and not even a return phone call. I am puzzled how this business could be rated so highly in yelp. If a company lacks the courtesy to return a phone call, I cannot imagine what their quality of service would be like...terrible probably.

About a week ago I attempted to replace the cold water on/off valve under my bathroom sink because water was slowly dripping from where it's attached to the water pipe. To me it was an easy task because I've done it before and did not encounter any problem. After just one turn with a pipe wrench, the on/off valve fell off the pipe. The pipe threads and inside the valve were extremely rusty. Fortunately for me I was able to cap the cold water pipe, and not need a plumber to repair it immediately. I decided to contact Kawamoto Plumbing primarily because Chad has done a great job and the cost reasonable twice before. . Chad was able to come over the house in a couple of days, and replaced the damaged water pipe and attached a new on/off valve quickly. And subsequently at no charge, cleared the bathroom sink water faucet (the guk was causing low water flow). Everything OK now. :) :) :)

We had Chad come out and give us an estimate on replacing our hot water heater. Price seemed fair so we called to schedule an appointment for the install, that is when things fell apart. I had explained that we wanted to get the water heater replaced immediately and he assured me that he would fit us into his schedule within a few days. He said he would come out either Saturday, or the following Tuesday. Never heard back from him again. We wasted valuable time that could have resulted in disaster (the bottom of the tank was rusted out) , fortunately Alternate Energy saved the day!

I called Chad because of the good reviews on Yelp and thought he was really nice when I met him in person but he never gave me the quote he said he would send me. I followed up with many calls, texts, emails and he kept telling me he would give me the quote soon. It's been over 3 weeks and I haven't heard from him yet or received his quote. I hired another plumber already but please beware, this guy doesn't have any respect for peoples time. If you're too busy just say so! Don't leave people hanging and not respond. So unprofessional!!!!!!
