Had Kaufmann out to our La Quinta home to unclog a drain line. Said they'd arrive between 8 & 9 am. Doorbell rang at 8:05. Robert (the tech) introduced himself and asked me to describe the issue. After explaining what was going on, he did a thorough review and inspection of fixtures associated with the drain line, determined a course of action. He finished clearing the line and then did a thorough review of the line and the associated fixtures. Outstanding & professional customer service. Will definitely have them on speed dial for future problems.

Turns out I was charged $160 in labor costs for a simple replacement of a pull-out hose in the kitchen faucet. The repair required two trips, because they didn't have the part they needed the first time. The woman on the phone told me that their failure to carry the part (for my newish, not terribly exotic HansGrohe faucet) was ""not their fault,"" which I guess makes it my fault. Too bad, because I had a good experience with the actual plumber guys.

We had gas leak that required the gas to be turned off at our house. I contacted a number of plumbing companies and the thing that set Kaufmann apart from the others was (1) they were able to get there right away to check it out and do some diagnosis and (2) they didn't start out saying they wanted to re-plumb the entire house like some other plumbers did.

The office staff at Kaufmann (Linda) is great. Organized, humorous, friends and accurate. All I could ask for. Reno, the lead plumber, called me and walked me through some options and money-saving ideas. He also made some really bright suggestions (like up-sizing the gas line to the water heater for an eventual upgrade to a tankless and installing a ""T"" in one of the gas lines for a future gas grill. Two things I never would have thought of.

In the end the job came in exactly on budget and also exactly the same as another highly recommended plumber that I spoke to prior to hiring Kaufmann.

I am enthusiastic about Kaufmann and next time I will only have to make one call. To Linda.

Reto responded quickly and was email savvy which is important to me as an out-of-town landlord. He did good work fast. His price was fair and my tenant said he was great which is icing on the cake. Kaufmann will be my first call next time I have any plumbing issues.

SLAB LEAK! After the second leak developed, we decided to re-pipe the whole house. I received 6 estimates. We chose Kaufmann Plumbing because of the sense of professionalism and the questions which Reto asked during the tour of our home. Kaufmann was not the least expensive nor the most expensive, and they listened to our questions and gave us full and complete answers. As the job developed, we were even happier with our choice of Kaufmann At the beginning of each day of the project, Reto would explain how the project was to proceed. When given this information we were better prepared and in one case, a kitchen wall was not cut open because discussion led to a successful alternative. Kaufmann did a quality project (in copper); kept the work space clean as possible and at the end of the project was still as attentive to our questions as during the whole project. We have, since our April 2015 re-pipe, recommended Kaufmann Plumbing to friends and family. Thanks again Reto.

Needed to have new faucets in a vanity installed. Allan came to the house on time and did a great job at a very reasonable price. I will recommend Kaufman Plumbing to friends & neighbors and will definitely call them again when I need a plumber (but hopefully not to soon-LOL!)

Recently we needed help with a leaking toilet. We contacted Kaufmann Plumbing and they sent out Dustin. Dustin worked quickly, efficiently and very neatly! We'll probably contact KP again...to 'update' the rest of our toilets!
