Not happy at all with the service. The receptionist talked too fast on the phone and forget to get my email address to email me the estimated quote. Checked the estimate and it was a total rip off when it was a simple replacement seal that had to be done. The plumber did not have a 4 way key to shut off the water. He acted professional but he did not look professional at all. Only want the money but the service was bad.

Don't use them! If I could give 0 stars I would. Set an appointment with them a week in advance, appointment was 9AM and no calls and nothing of them being late. Called the company at 9:15 and they said he was on his way but gave no time frame. Waited until 10AM and still no one showed up. Called them to cancel and only them giving me excuse they couldn't find parking, which there were lots of them available prior. And they guy tells me "oh no parking we cannot do it" what a total wasted of my time waiting for them.

Kamaaina Plumbing was recommended to us by a family member. They came in and started working quickly to diagnose our problem. They didn't just give us their theories, they didn't tell us to tear out our new counter top and cabinets and they didn't quote us 400$ to send a camera down the pipe to "see" as 2 other vendors had done. They took action and worked around our cabinets and appliances to get to our plumbing. Their receptionist was friendly and reminded us about our appointments. They weren't timely for one of our appointments (due to an emergency at another site).. but it was okay, they were good at what they do and I didn't mind waiting for them. They were up front with us, efficient, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. Both Alan and David were great!

I am very disappointed in this company. I called them, spoke to someone (I am so sorry that I forgot her name because she was very helpful) and explained what I wanted, what my budget was, etc. I was very honest and she took all my information. She told me that she will speak with her estimator and get back to me when he would be able to come to my home, take measurements, speak with me and provide a quote.

She called me back, very apologetic, stating that the estimator said that my budget would not be enough to cover what I wanted so he won't be coming out to meet me. That was it! He didn't even try to say that they would work with me. How disappointing.

I just got off the phone with another company who is at least willing to come out, take the measurements and provide me a quote. If this company is willing to do this, it makes me wonder:
1) does it make this company more desperate than Kamaaina Plumbing?; or
2) does it make this company willing to work with someone to try to achieve their dream?

I believe #2 is the answer.

Yea! Joe came out from Kaimaiina Plumbing, was quick, on time, professional, and able to clear the main house drain in no time. This was after first plumber didn't call us back on Friday and then Monday calls and says he doesn't have the right right truck/equipment till later in week, the second plumber came, tried to snake, and said he couldn't clear the clog because his hose wasn't long enough and was worried about a broken pipe, & said you need another plumber. We called Kaimaiina Plumbing who set up the appt right away and we got Joe who just went to it and 30 min later all was good, everything was flushing again and draining right. So happy & as a property manager I've used a plenty of plumbers. I won't name names of the bad ones but I will praise the good ones. Kaimaaiina Plumbing I'm calling you first next time and will ask for Joe. You've got a good one with Joe at your company for sure. Mahalo!

This is among the WORST PLUMBING company is KAMAAINA PLUMBING AND HOME RENOVATIONS. Other than that they make very good alibis to justify their high fees as if they did it themselves really good thought it's just simple task.
Called their office for emergency clogged up toilet and the office personnel is so rude and saying they could not attend as soon as possible since plumbers are already all out and promised to call me back in 5 minutes... never called back!!!
I called other good reputation plumbing company among the best and ask help and came right in time as requested.
DO NOT USE KAMAAINA PLUMBING for any plumbing works.
I don't think recommend this company.

Not impressed! I was told to take a picture of my leaking toilet and send it to them so they would have the right part when they showed up. They showed up and then looked at the toilet and said they don't have the part! The plumber left the house saying he would run to the store and get one and never called me back and never came back. A week later I received a call saying that they would have to order the part. So they did that and set up another appointment a week later. The day they were suppose to come, I received a call saying the the plumber was sick and couldn't make it so they would have to reschedule again! This is a fairly large plumbing agency and they only have one guy??? Anyways, I had commited so much time to this, that I scheduled another visit a week later. I can't believe it took a month to get them to fix my toilet! I'll look for another plumber next time...
