Joe came and plumbed three separate times to get our drain to work. He looked for the cleanout which didn't exist for our sink. He clean up throughly around the problem and even apologized for the inevitable splashes made which he might have missed. I am impressed and would use him again.

Kamaaina Plumbing has been one of the most professional, competent and efficient businesses I have used on the island. This is the 1st time to use them, for the installation of 2 new toilets purchased from Home Depot. All the way from setting the date, the installer, and follow-up with the invoice showing paid, first rate. As I read other reviews it was as it is two different companies. I would MOST definitely call them for other plumbing needs and their list of services is quite complete. I could have saved money if I had picked the toilets up fom HD myself, but for a variety of reasons, it was better for me to have K.P. do that. They asked if I needed pick-up and I said, ""Yes, please!"".

I purchased a hot water heater from Home Depot in Kapolei, HI who contract w/ Kamaaina Plumbing. Shortly thereafter, Kamaaiana called me to request a pic of my old heater (it went into their spam inbox - weird). Next, Melissa from Kamaaina's office arranged my appointment with their plumber for an install and removal. Melissa was very attentive, professional and friendly. I had to put her on hold for a few minutes and she patiently waited my return to the phone. On the day of install, Terrell, aka plumber, arrived. Terrell did an excellent install job. He was very courteous, professional and knowledgeable. This man is a hard worker. He focused on the task very efficiently. He gave me advise as how to best maintain a hot water heater and answered any questions I had very politely. Terrell is an excellent Kamaaina employee.

Scheduled a repair on Friday for a Saturday job, between 12 and 2:00pm. I called several times Saturday, from 1:00 to 2:00pm. The dispatchers were very helpful, and left messages with Allen, the only after hours plumber but he was unresponsive to the messages and did not return my calls.

Yea! Joe came out from Kaimaiina Plumbing, was quick, on time, professional, and able to clear the main house drain in no time. This was after first plumber didn't call us back on Friday and then Monday calls and says he doesn't have the right right truck/equipment till later in week, the second plumber came, tried to snake, and said he couldn't clear the clog because his hose wasn't long enough and was worried about a broken pipe, & said you need another plumber. We called Kaimaiina Plumbing who set up the appt right away and we got Joe who just went to it and 30 min later all was good, everything was flushing again and draining right. So happy & as a property manager I've used a plenty of plumbers. I won't name names of the bad ones but I will praise the good ones. Amazing service! I had an immediate plumbing emergency, and they were the only company out of the many I called who could send someone right away. The plumber had the issue fixed within an hour and the price was very fair. I give them my highest rating! Awesome business!

Terrell went above and beyond his call of duty and helped me with my plumbing issues more than he was required to. This type of help comes in particularly handy for single moms like myself. He was very knowledgeable and I felt like he genuinely cared about the work he did at my home, which helped make me comfortable with his services.

I called at about 9:00 in the morning because there was a leak under the kitchen sink. The woman (she was rude, just like the other commenters said) took my name and number and said she would call me back. I called back at 4:30, and the girl who answered the phone, said the woman I had talked to, had gone for the day. She would leave a note. Well, fast forward the next day. I hadn't heard from them by 9:00 so I called my regular plumber (Kamaaina was the subcontractor on a home renovation). They didn't know when they could send someone out, but within a couple of hours, a plumber showed up on my doorsteps, bushy eyed and eager to work. It took about 3 hours to change a hose, but that was because he had to search the island to look for the right hose. Can't fault him for that. Better to make sure you get the right part instead of going back and forth.
