The water heater died over the holiday break; submitted a replacement request to Home Depot and Kamaaina sent Terrell. Two highlights: Terrell showed up bright and early the very next morning and replaced a 40 gallon (now 38) water heater in less than two hours. On top of that, Terrell was professional, polite, and adapted to some cramped conditions to get the job done. Very pleased with Kamaaina, Terrell's now on my go to list for home repairs! Highly recommended with no reservations.

Kamaina plumbing are exceptional and my experience with them was great.The guy who came was called Allan and I can highly recommend him being extremely knowledgeable in the problem we had and is top notch in every way .wonderful trustworthy company.In addition their prices are very reasonable!

This is among the WORST PLUMBING company is KAMAAINA PLUMBING AND HOME RENOVATIONS. Other than that they make very good alibis to justify their high fees as if they did it themselves really good thought it's just simple task. Called their office for emergency clogged up toilet and the office personnel is so rude and saying they could not attend as soon as possible since plumbers are already all out and promised to call me back in 5 minutes... never called back!!! I called other good reputation plumbing company among the best and ask help and came right in time as requested. DO NOT USE KAMAAINA PLUMBING for any plumbing works. I don't think recommend this company.

WORST plumbing company I have ever dealt with. Do yourself a favor and do not use them. They were contracted by American Home Shield. Service was so bad, we ended up canceling our home warranty company over it. A job that should have taken a day took 2 weeks. On top of that, no one at the plumbing office could give information on the job (we were selling the house and off island), never showed up on time (or at all in a few cases). The manager was never available to speak to us. I have no idea how this company is even in business. Steer clear.

This is my first review of this company and let me tell you I'm not impressed. No one should put their faith in a company like this. We recently moved to a new place and a few things needed to be fixed so our realtor called them to take care of the issues. Our first experience w/ them was our prior place we rented. There was a day they didn't show up and another where the wrong part was brought so they had to come back another day. This was back in 2015. I didn't make a complaint back then. Moving forward to 2017 and it seems like the same thing all over again. I'm surprised they are still in business w/ the number of bad reviews. The first time a few weeks ago when my husband took off from work and they didn't show. The 2nd incident was they stated they didn't have the right part(deja vu?) but instead of coming back they decided not to until now. On Tues the 7th the plumber kept calling my phone to schedule something and instead of leaving a message he keeps calling. I guess they automatically assume people do not work. When I finally get to speak to him he assumed he could come over that day. Because I was going to take off on Thurs I told him Thurs was a better day and he set the time between 12-3pm. Well it is now Thurs and NO CALL/NO SHOW!!! Pissed me off even more since I had to take off specifically for him to come over and I won't be getting paid from my job! This time I made a complaint to the realtor and now on Yelp. If I had to hire someone out of my own pocket I know for sure NOT to ever use them.

If i could have selected zero stars, i definitely would have. This is probably the absolute worst service I've ever received, anywhere. Everyone in the office is very rude. They dont introduce themselves, they are not feiendly, and they cut you off before you can even give the information they asked you for. Its as if they weren't brought up on using manners. The plumber that was sent to my house was very unprofessional. I couldn't identify him as a Kamaaina employee by his jeans & tank top. When he replaced my water heater, he asked my boyfriend to help him carry & install it. Since it was replaced, my shower hasn't had any hot water & when he came back to look at it he said it wasn't the fault of the heater. He said to talk to my resident manager & he left. Upon talking to my resident manager, he said that the valves were installed incorrectly. When we called back to get another plumber, it took us over 2 weeks to get somebody else out and they still haven't cone yet. Worst company to deal with. So disappointing. Management should highly consider restructuring, or ceasing business entirely.

Worst company ever, does not call back when said they would. Every time i call the person that i originally talked to is either gone for the day or out to lunch. Supervisor who was suppose to call me never calls and receptionist will say he had an emergency to go to. i haven't had hot water for 3 days, doesn't that warrant to be an emergency? I had to call Roto-rooter to get my work done. Home Depot needs to change this contractor. Very disappointed with the company

I have a similar experience with this company that others have had. I went through Home Depot for a bathroom remodel. Very pleasant person on phone made an appt. for an estimator to come out to my house, with a window between 7am-12noon. She said someone would call the day before to give me a narrower window (i.e. 2hr). No one called the day before. Still hopeful, the day of the appt. I waited from 7am. I did call the office to ask for my window. Told the pleasant voice on the phone that no one called the day before, but would like a window. She told me she would call me back after she talked to her manager. End of story, no one called, and no one came. It is now 4:00pm. I'm assuming no one is coming. I talked to Home Depot and filed a complaint. If this is the type of contractor Home Depot works with for the lucrative business of bathroom remodeling, then they will surely loose potential customers. They certainly lost me.

DON'T CHOOSE THIS COMPANY!!! RIPOFF!!! They are not very honest with their estimate and charge you with different amount. When the lady from their company called me for scheduling the replacement of my water heater and I told her that my heater is located under the stairway but it is wide open and they should not have problem to install it. She said that the plumber will let us know if I will get charge $150 for access fee. However, after the plumber finished the job, they charged us $150 for access fee but did not warn us before he start the job. I called the lady and she told me that the reason they charged us the access fee is because it located under the stairway. After explaining to her again, she changed her story and said that they could not fully drained the heater. Why unable to drain the heater is considered the access fee. RIDICULOUS!! On top of that the plumber took only about 1 hour to finish the work. SUCH A RIPOFF!!! Home Depot is considered to add more plumber contractors so that we don't have to go to them. We are in the process to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

Worst company ever. They Don't call back. Don't follow up with you. Don't submit claims to the home warranty company on time or at all. Plumber forgets to bring a replacement toilet to the job that is to replace a toilet I can go on and on. Stay away. Far away. And for u American home shield policy holders complain to ahs so they can replace this deplorable company with one that is at least tolerable. No aloha from this company at all
