Matt B.Read the reviews before they came to my home but it was too late. Mike showed up, walked around and pretty much reviewed everything, which was nice that he was trying to figure my plumbing issue and was waiting for actual troubleshooting to occur, which was beyond his services. Passed to another plumber.
Found out later this company is a scam, they come to collect the AHS fee. They need to be stopped, hard working plumbers deserve the work.
Horrible Horrible Horrible!! K&K were sent to us on May 5 by AHS (home warranty) to fix the timer on our jacuzzi tub. The technician left without fixing it - and then called my husband 3 weeks later to say he was in the area and wanted to know if he could pick up the motor and take it back to the shop to fix it. That happened on May 20. Little did we know that ""timer motor"" is actually connected to the water pipes and he didn't turn off the water, plug the pipe, leave a sign to not use, nor did he tell us not to use the tub. Well guess what? $25,000 in water damage later......and the tub is STILL not fixed. Every time they came back to replace the motor, they would find a leak. They would leave, come back on another visit, take the motor out, replace it. Find another leak. We called AHS and told them everything and asked for a different plumber. New plumber comes in and says ""previous plumber cracked the pipe from removing the motor so many times, plus they didn't bolt it down which would vibrate the pipe and crack it"". Since the entire plumbing mechanism needs to be replaced now, the tub does too. Guess what? AHS doesn't cover tubs. So - off to the Attorney General I go to get their help in getting K&K to ante up for the out-of-pocket $2500 deductible for the water damage repairs (insurance covered the rest - when I think K&K should have paid for the whole mess), plus I want them to pay for the tub. They would be getting off easy.

Tiffany K.we had these guys out to our house 3 times for plumbing issues COVERED BY warrenty through AHS insurance. the first time mike showed up he snaked my drain with the exact same drain snake we had bought to try and fix this. he went on to tell me that this wasnt his are(hes a plumber) that i had to contact his boss and they would have to send someone else out that specialized in clogs...""WHAT"".. any ways 4 weeks later we had to contact them and guess who they sent out again...mike. he proceeded to show up late again and then snake it again. o and then he blindly put holes in my wall. after that he said he was done for the day and left all the stuff taken apart and a mess I was left to clean up. i get it i knew they had to do this but when my boyfriend got home and took a couple logical measurements he figured out where the hole should go. so at this point in order to shower in our only shower we had to put it back togather ourselves. this was done with no promise of a return the next day. after calling his boss every day for the ne next 4 days he sent back Mike. At this point my boyfriend stayed home to make sure it was done correctly. He proceeded to show Mike where the hole should go and they found a bunch of messed up pipes that were taken apart to unclog. After this we were told that they were not responsible for fixing the mangled pipes. Is now been 4 days later and when taking a bath it flooded the bedroom below because things were not put together correctly by K&K plumbing. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR PLUMBING.
Billy H.Eldon was dispatched to our home as a result of a call to our HSA (home warranty company) to fix a heating issue. He was condescending to my wife, didn't explain the repair that needed to be made, and worst of all, caused two additional malfunctions after he made the first ""repair."" He didn't follow up with our calls to come back and fix the additional problems and was extremely rude and defensive when we started to ask questions. I couldn't be more disappointed with K&K and would strongly caution anyone when considering their services. No concept of customer service and poor execution.
I wish I could give them zero stars. I also had been referred to them via our AHS Home Warranty. Luckily for me, he was so rude on the phone that I called AHS and asked for someone else. I've never felt so disrespected than I did from this man. He called at horrible times, and then only offered one time to come to my house, and when I told him I could not get off work at that time and asked what else was available, he rudely told me that we obviously have the same work hours and I need to be more accommodating. As I type that, it sounds way too nice for the way he said it, but I can't think of the exact words he used. He literally should not be in business, I would be so disgusted if I had to let him in my home. NEVER hire him, even if it is through the warranty- call them and complain and they will send someone else.
Sarah T.K&K Plumbing, was sent out from AHS to fix a bathtub drain issue. He was extremely rude, and condescending the entire 30 minutes he was in my home.
He refused to fix the drain, stating that he would need to see if the issue was covered under the contract. Never got back to me. Called AHS, he reported to them- that there was no issue. So, essentially this company likes to collect the $75 fee to come out, and then not do any work.
I would avoid this company at all costs.
Nicholas W.I seldom use the word worthless, but that is the only way to describe these clowns. After a site visit to my home, we were advised of the issue. During the site visit, the gentleman was often confused, argumentative and needed things explained that as a plumber, he shouldn't have needed. Needless to say, after that we were weary of this place. After two days of hearing nothing back, we called to check in on the progress of the claim. The gentleman we spoke to was clearly annoyed that we called to check in. Somehow the following day, the cause of our problem changed and he was no longer able to assist.
I would stay away from these idiots at all costs! This is clearly an incompetent shop. With so many plumbing and heating companies to choose from, why would you take the chance with worthlessness?
I just wanted to warn folks. I would have given no stars if it was an option.
Avoid these guys if possible. K&K was sent to my house through our AHS home warranty. They scheduled an appointment for 8:00am and I stayed home from work that morning to show them our plumbing issue. At 9 am I called the owner to find out where his guy was and they said they would call me back. By 10:30 Mike showed up hungover from the night before. He left our shower taken apart and unusable until they could talk to the warranty people and find out if they could do the work. A week later with our shower still not functioning, AHS informs me they don't cover the repair.
Throughout the process K&K conducted themselves in an unprofessional manner. I would find another plumber if possible.
This company is a scam! He works as a contractor for American Home Shield and is un-professional. He manually switched my furnace on and said it was fixed. Four hours later it was off again. He refused to come back out and service it. Meanwhile he lied to AHS about the status of my furnace and further said that now ""my property was an unsafe work environment"". Are you serious? This one man band stand needs to be put out of business! I filed a complaint with the BBB and I'm not the only one! Check it out for yourself. He refused to refund my money, oh and I never got a written receipt either.
