Hi this is in response to the owner. This is the correct company I spoke with Kevin directly. I am sharing my experience and that was what happened, but I didn't give my review right away. Obviously the owner would respond quickly at 10pm to a negative review as he would be doing damage control. People need to see reviews both positive and negative and it is easy for a business to say you have us confused with someone else instead of be accountable. So no, I do not have you confused with another company.

Our 6-unit condo building (picture 2 tripledeckers attached to each other) recently experienced a sewer line blockage and backup.

Our first attempt to restore service was snaking the line. But there was an obstruction some 15 feet out that resisted snaking and flushing with water.

Kevin Aruda responded quickly to our call for help. He gave us a comprehensive quote for the whole job (including any permits, police details, etc) Due the presence of gas lines, he needed to report to Dig Safe and wait a couple of days for the city to mark the various lines.

They showed up bright and early on the agreed-to day and excavated and evaluated the problem. Rain drains had to be temporarily removed, a city engineer had to agree to the proposed fix, and Kevin handled all of this with professionalism.

The job went smoothly and service is restored!

He made it look easy, and one could thereby unfairly question his rates (""after all, it looked so easy"") but if you've ever had subpar work done, you know how easily a complex job can spin out of control and expand in both time and money.

I am very happy we chose his firm, and am grateful for a job well done.

I had work done last spring to replace my plumbing to the street. They came in so quick to remove the floor and get that pipe line in saving me from my basement flooding with unmentionables.. overall all the work is amazing and price was generous! Thank you again!

After our initial conversation, I texted Kevin several photos and additional info. In that initial conversation, he did NOT quote a price. He said he would send a proposal, which I said I would discuss with the association -- implication being that I would discuss it once I received it. After several days it still hadn't arrived; I called again, spoke with him, and was told it was going out that day. It never arrived, either by email or by text. I texted several additional times, indicating my continued interest, but received no further response. I finally abandoned the inquiry. I'll give the benefit of the doubt -- but I know what my experience was.

Kevin was prompt and responsive in providing an estimate as well as during the entire rest of the process -- contract signing, work execution, follow-up paperwork. Kevin and his team are great. The water line to my house was leaking, and after shutting off my water the town gave me a long list of contractors I could contact. I called Kevin based on the other Yelp reviews. He immediately returned my call and was over at my house in an hour to give me an estimate. Kevin took the time to explain the process, and acknowledged my sense of urgency in fixing the leak promptly. After waiting a full day for another contractor to return with a higher quote, I immediately hired Kevin. We were delayed waiting for the town permit to be approved, but as soon as it was Kevin and his guys were over within hours. His team was polite and professional, and they completed the job that day, at the cost quoted. The entire experience was made significantly easier by his professionalism and friendly demeanor.
