Awesome service. Our igniter went out today - called Just Tankless and Al was out to the house in 1.5 hours after another call he was on - system was fixed in 15 minutes!

Our water heater stopped working, and he came out to see us the same day. He checkout it out, figured out it was the igniter, and told us how we could order the part ourselves for $30.

Since it was Friday night, we would have to wait until Monday to order the part, and be without hot water for almost a week! So before leaving, he figured out how to hot wire a different brand's igniter to our water heater so we could have hot water until the new part arrived. Life saver!

When our tankless water heater kept stopping after one minute of heating, we contacted Just Tankless and Al came out right away. He took the time to listen to us (we had done a cleaning of the unit ourselves) and then spent the time to find the problem. He ordered a part and came out right away when the part arrived a couple of days later. The heater is now working well, and I was happy on how he put in the time and effort to solve the problem quickly.

The contractor who did the installation sort of messed up the new tankless water heater and we could only have 5 minutes of hot water before it shut itself off. Al came on time and spot the issue in 3 minutes. It was a quick fix and the heater was finally up running as it should.

Al also pointed to me some misses during the installation and I fix it myself afterwards.

Had an error code on my Noritz tankless water heater. Heater is 13-yrs old, but meticulously maintained, at least that's what we've paid for over the years. Called plumbing company that installed and serviced. They contacted Noritz and within 5-minutes these brainiacs decided I had a failed circuit board. New board WOULD BE $250, except they don't make it anymore, so now they want me to replace the entire heater. I spoke with Noritz directly and everyone involved was happy to conclude that I needed to spend over $4,000 replacing and re-plumbing my installation. I told them I wasn't ready to accept that result.

I then called Just Tankless and spoke with Al about my situation. After listening closely to my experience, Al says ""Those board almost never fail, unless they've gotten wet."" He says ""Did the plumber bring a compressor in to service your system?"" To which I reply ""No"". Al says ""Your burner is dirty."" I'm a pretty handy guy and not afraid to work on things myself. Al then proceeds to direct me to the online video about how REAL maintenance and cleaning is supposed to be performed, using compressed air to clean the burner assembly and I did the work myself. He then offered to work with me for the best solution if I actually do need to replace the system. A week in, and no error code, system is working great. Hoping not to jinx it, but I think Al was absolutely correct. Also hoping I get the 25-30-years you're supposed to get from these systems. Just Tankless and especially Al . . . you're the best!!!

We did not have a good experience. There were a lot of issues and delays with communicating with us. Ultimately we did not end up getting work done because we wanted the work to be permitted and they refused to allow us to do so despite the following claim on their website: ""Is there any Permit needed to install a Tankless Water Heater? Yes, there is a permit needed from the local building department. We will gladly start the permit application process, ONLY charging you the Permit Fee with NO markup! We will have the completed Permit sent to your Home, you can then call the Permit department for inspection after all work is complete.""

I am happy with Just Tankless service. Al and Armando take down the old water heater and installed the 9.8 GPM tankless WH within 3 hours on Sunday. The workmanship were top notch.

I have recently upgraded the power circuits in my home to support a tankless water heater. I have a list of models that would provide the necessary flow, but I deferred choosing one until I selected a plumber (to get their feedback on models they trusted).

After receiving this information, Al told me that you can't install electric tankless water heaters, that it was impossible project, and it couldn't be done. WHAT? I persisted to try and understand what he was saying, but he just spouted a stream of nonsense:

1. It's impossible to install enough circuits
-- two 60amp circuits or three 40amp circuits? This isn't rocket science.

2. You can't get enough power from PG&E to power one
-- I have it already

3. It will cost you much more what a normal water heater will
-- Energy Star and many other installation reports indicate 50% savings at our flow rate

4. Nobody buys electric tankless
-- Which is why they're sold at Home Depot, Lowes, OSH...? Yeah, those stores stock products that nobody uses.

Seriously, he just told me my project is not doable and yet he can't justify a single thing he said. This wasn't a voice of experience raising practical considerations, it was someone who wanted to avoid a prepared, intelligent customer.

This is a predator. Stay away.

Due to ongoing problems with my construction and existing plumber, I called Just Tankless back. Damn if he didn't spend another 25 minutes with me on the phone going into great detail about my situation. I swear by the old gods and the new, if I could fire my existing plumber and hire someone new, it would be this guy. It wasn't just that he took my call. Or that he was kind even knowing I wasn't likely going to give him immediate business. But his practical knowledge was better than multiple plumbers, multiple online resources I've called, and even better than the sales support from Rinnai USA who called me and read out of the manual. Gotta love someone who knows what they do and can communicate clearly.....so I felt the need to come back and update this.

My tankless water heater (AO Smith) broke and needed to be replaced. It was unfortunately not covered under warranty. I got quotes from three different places for replacement. The last one was Al, who gave a reasonable quote, came the next day (on time), and installed a Rinnai unit that works great! Nice guy and knowledgeable. Did not try and up sell me like the prior water heater guys. I know nothing about plumbing, so I think the other plumbers tried to take advantage of that. I am very happy with Al at Just Tankless and would recommend him to others.
