Al does excellent work. He has installed two Rinnai tankless water heaters for me. No problems after five years on the first and 3 years on the second. He is also a great contracting resource. Upgraded old tile flooring with tile.

Had Al replace water heater with a Rinnai tankless system . After two years it had a leak which Al covered himself . He came out and replaced the unit with a new one and extended the warranty . His word is his bond and when he says I'll handle it , he means it . Great service and more importantly great attitude

Al is absolutely the BEST. He is very professional, he has outstanding communication and a he is a master craftsman of his trade. I should say tradeS because he is a jack of all trades. You don't need to look any further for your hot water heater issues because Al can take care of everything.

My water heated died in the morning leaving me with a bunch of screaming women that needed to take showers. Rather than try to fix it (the water heater is about 11 years old and has never been serviced) I opted for a brand new unit.

I called Al and boy am I glad that I did! He was kind, helpful and he understood the emergency that I was in. It turns out he is a rep for Takagi (my old dead water heater) and he had the new updated model in stock. He was able to move some of his current jobs around in order to accommodate my situation and he was at my house in about an hour.

His work was quick and his installation was clean and professional. He is also a very nice person and interesting to talk to. I have already referred him to friends and family. I wish all contractors were like him he embodies true professionalism.

I've never really dealt with such a proficient and expert company. When my old tankless water heater began leaking, I called Al at Tankless.com. This was on a Saturday. He was there in less that an hour. I was stunned. These guys are subject matter experts on all things tankless (as the name implies) But more than that they do what they are timely, honest and efficient. Within a 15 minutes, Al knew EXACTLY what the problem was and how to fix it. As soon as he left (within 30 minutes) he emailed me a quote, told me precisely how long it would take to fix and volunteered to come the next day (SUNDAY). I'm' still a bit taken back. He came, he fixed, he rocks. He even installed a water filtration system to soften the water. Amazing.

\ Never been happier with a vendor. If you need/want a tankless water heater system, don't use anyone else, you'd be wasting your time and money. I know, I've been there, done that

Al is extremely rude, defensive, and unprofessional. I got a quote for a tankless water heater, and had a plumber out for something else and had him take a look at the proposal. He told me that the unit Al suggested would not work because of some pipe measurements or flu vent size or something. When I emailed Al asking for reassurance about this, he accused me of pitting him against other contractors and replied ""Ok, whatever. Good luck with it."" WTF? I never said anything about getting him to lower his price or defend his choice. I've never bought a water heater before and I literally just wanted him to explain it to me! When I tried to explain that I just wanted to make sure the unit was going to work, he said ""we can not possibly be expected to defend our position"" and ""I will not get in a position to argue back and forth who is nearly as qualified as we are"" and ""Playing two contractors against each other is not something we play along..""
Huh? Just explain to me why the other dude says the unit you suggest won't work and why you think it will! Geez! This dude seems crazy.
Ironically, Just Tankless signs off his emails with ""Just Thankless."" Yep, you got that one part right Al.

My tankless water heater showed an ignition error and stopped working, it was close to holidays so really anxious to find someone address the issue ASAP. I talked with Al, he was very responsive and knowledgeable, asked me to read the SN of the unit, and he was able to pin point the type and model real-time; moreover, he suggested me some simple steps first to try if we can get the issue resolved over the phone; and it did! It was a perfect Christmas gift!

I can echo the other reviews. Al came in to check my broken water heater within an hour of my call on Friday afternoon. By Sunday noon I had a new heater. I called around for a quote and Al was the least expensive.

I had an old tankless water heater that I had not been servicing and that started leaking. I spoke with Al Johnson, who answered all my questions knowledgeably and patiently. He was clear and definitive in his advice. He was professional, courteous, and took time to review everything with me, both on the phone and in person. His quote was also $700 less than the next least expensive quote I got from calling 5 different places. The unit I needed installed was delayed by a day and Al made an extra trip in the interim to turn off the water to the old heater. Great experience with Al and this company!

We had a Rinnai Tankless that was not installed properly and had a small defect which we had the original plumbers attempt to fix, but they gave up. Al was able to not only able quickly identify the problem, but fix it quickly as well.
