Al fixed my 10 year old Navien combination boiler that started failing with a ""loss of flame"" error code. He asked me to do some experiments and had an idea what might be wrong even before he arrived at my place. In the end, he just had to replace the flame sensor that was badly worn. He knows Navien boilers well.

Things started off good. They gave me a reasonable estimate and offered to visit in person for no charge to write a detailed quote.

They never confirmed that they were coming, and later sent me an email that they couldn't find the road that my house is on. I called them back a few minutes later, but they said that they were not interested in doing business with me. Very unprofessional.

I got the impression that they decided they didn't want to do business with me for some other reason and made up the story about not finding the road as an excuse.

Alternatively, if I take their story at face value, they are the kind of company that will abandon a project at the first sign of difficulty. I guess it is good that I found that out before any money changed hands.

Very knowledgeable, responsive and honest. I had these guys check my Tankless and they repaired it after quickly diagnosing the problem. Another company I had called wanted to replace the tankless at a great expense. I highly recommend these guys.

Like many on here, we had our water heater break after 17yrs. I decided to call the company (Just Tabkless) my neighbor used. I even asked my neighbor what he thought about the installer. He said Al is very knowledgeable and courteous. And did a great job at his place.
I texted Al and he quickly gave me a quote on a Navian tankless, which is what I wanted. Al came over the next day, and in no time, he was finished and tidied up. I would not hesitate to contact him for future jobs.

Al replaced our old tank heater with a Navien tankless just over a year ago. He's friendly and a very knowledgeable guy - it was pretty clear he had done this for a while, and was not someone who just could handle the easiest install jobs.

AFAIK, this company is largely a one-man operation, Al will answer the phone/emails, come in his truck, and do the work himself. He spent a few hours and completed the job within a day.

We had a couple issues with the heater since install.
1. The heater abruptly malfunctioned, and displayed an error while not outputting any warm water. Al responded at the end of the day and came out the next day to replace the PCB. He mentioned this was a known issue, but Navien was not proactively replacing PCBs on past installs.
2. The heater would very slowly drip water in certain conditions. Al came out and said it should be normal and resealed the connections, but I keep a drip tray under the heater now.

Overall, a good company / individual to work with for tankless heating, it seems my issues were more likely due to Navien than the install, and Al was very responsive in helping evaluate them when they did come up.

Short but insightful story.
Purchased an NORITZ tankless water heater last year. The highest heating temperature displayed 120%
After exhaustive attempts to raise the temperature I believed I had to purchase a new tankless unit.
Called around and was directed to Tankless.com.
I called him, (owner) and was prepared to purchase a unit that would cost me in the neighborhood of 3K.
TO MY AMAZEMENT THE OWNER OF TANKLESS WALKED ME THROUGH THE PROCESS (TWICE) SOLVES MY ISSUE AND AT NO COST.
I will, and I suggest to you, to use this company. He was courteous, patient, and could easily have cost me $$$$.

Al Johnson is a pro. New homeowners and no experience with the 10+ year old tankless water heater that started leaking. Al responded to our call right away and recommended a new water heater which he had in stock and ready to install. After doing our homework on the Navian model he recommended, we proceeded with the new water heater and Al installed it during a storm. He was knowledgeable, efficient, tidy and pleasant to work with. He also disposed of a useless old water softener that was taking up a lot of space in the garage. Highly recommend Al!

Al fixed my tankless problem within 10 minutes. My 9 year old tankless quit working this morning, no hot water. I contacted the installer but they couldn't come out until Monday. I discovered Just Tankless on Yelp and spoke with Al. He asked a few questions, and although he was busy he said he'd be here in 30 minutes. Amazing! Problem solved! Just Tankless will be my first call from now on!

Al and his colleague changed a defective tankless heater that was leaking water with a brand new Navien one. The problem did not go away and the new heater kept leaking. They both came back three more times and they did not fix the problem but rather rerouted the leakage to the drain rather than the floor. The heater had intermittent issues as well. Apart from not getting clear answers, Al did not provide a two-year warranty as he agreed to in the beginning, and took the job although it was far from his location, which I didn't know in the beginning. In conclusion, you need to hire a specialist and Al is not as knowledgable.

Al helped fix my Noritz Tankless this morning. The heater had been giving me issues over a few days and water was intermittently not getting hot. I called another company and they checked the error codes but couldn't fix the problem..and then yesterday, it just stopped turning on.

Al was responsive and frank on the phone that he couldn't help me with an intermittent issue given there is no consistent repro. After I called him a second time when hester stopped working, he stopped by and diagnosed the flow sensor to be the issue in no time. He cleaned and everything was working again.

He also commented on my pump and polyphosphate filter setup and gave tips on how I could flush the heater myself. You can tell he has a in-depth texhnical knowledge of this .
