Justin started his path in plumbing when he was only 12 - working at Los Altos Hardware until he finished high school. While there, he encountered a plumbing contractor who later became his boss. Justin worked tirelessly on remodeling, new home construction, service and repair, troubleshooting, drain snaking, and trench work. Having spent six years with this contractor, Justin decided it was time for new and thrilling plumbing experiences. He took a job with a contractor in San Francisco. Once he settled in and adapted to the new environment with different plumbing systems, he grew comfortable with his work. His craftsmanship displayed neatness and a real artistic quality. Having spent nearly ten years with exceptional plumbers and contractors, Justin thought it was time for a getaway. In 2005, Just-In-Time Plumbing was established. Honk honk!

Highly recommend Just-In-Time Plumbing. They showed up on time, price was very reasonable and they were respectful of the house. Hopefully we won't need the use of a plumber but if we do I will use them again.

It seems like anyone who works with him ends up saying "" Justin is amazing "".
I'll be no different, he is amazing. He is so worth the wait that even when we just have a clogged drain and he is booked for a couple of days, we wait.

I am writing this review tonight because I just referred a neighbor to Justin, and read his reviews to date. I can say that the only 2 critical reviews were because Justin was booked. People, he is booked for a reason, because he is good. This is not Roto-Rooter; it is a small company that does quality work.
Justin has performed two jobs at our house after being highly recommended by members of the town I live in. He has done a fantastic, 5 star job both times. In fact, he happened to be over doing a job when another work crew was installing a tankless water system (didn't realize Justin could have done this) and observed some really screwy things the other guys were doing and discreetly pointed it out to me, thankfully.
Sure, if you have a true emergency, he may not be able to come out right away. If you can schedule it, give him a call.
That's all I have to say.

I've asked Justin to fix several things on my house on different occasions over the past 5 years. He's fixed leaky faucets, installed two toilets and an earthquake gas shutoff valve. He's always on time, does great work, reasonably priced and friendly to deal with. I'll be using him over and over again.

I called Justin today regarding my inoperable disposal. Justin took the time to troubleshoot the issue with me over the phone. He helped me pinpoint the issue and also got my disposal working. I appreciate him giving me his time and for being honest. He saved me from purchasing a new disposal which is an expense I truly didn't need right now. Thanks Justin for your help. When I truly need a plumber, you will be who I turn to I'm the future

We got the best service ever from Justin. The water pressure at our house had over a period of time fallen and finally dropped dramatically. We thought at first it might be the water from the main and called the water company. They came out and measured the pressure at the curb to be 143 PSI and after our regulator to be 34 PSI. Their suggestion was to get a new regulator. We did that, but half way through trying to install it we realized we didn't know what we were doing. At that point, I called Justin. He came out and installed the regulator -- which was somewhat better than the old one -- but that the pressure before the regulator was still very low. We had the water company come out again to verify their measurements and show us their evaluation with similar results as before. At that point it was clear there was something amiss in the line between the curb and our house. Justin was able to bring together a trencher and his plumbers in short order and replaced the line between the curb and the house with minimal downtime -- we were without water for only 2 hours. Additionally, he also added a new regulator to our sprinkler system because the new, awesome pressure was going to be too much for it. The end price was what he quoted at the very beginning. Really excellent work. Will use him in the future for any plumbing issues.

Justin and Andrew came out to snake my sewer line from end to end, removing a stubborn blockage. They were finished in 45 minutes for a very reasonable price. They're total professionals, and nice guys to deal with. I can't see hiring anyone else!

Another company (AllStar Plumbing) came out to try to clear my clogged sink drain. They quoted a high price, and then proceeded to fumble around with snakes for quite a while but were unable to clear the blockage. I asked whether they could use a camera to find the clog and they first said that was a good idea, but later said the camera was ""too expensive"", and what I really needed was just to replace old piping, at a cost of about $2500.
I then called Just-In-Time. Justin came out with an assistant, snaked the drain line to SOLVE the problem quickly, and then made some other plumbing repairs in the home, all for only about $200. We are delighted with his work!

i called up just-in-time on a saturday morning, and spoke w justin. we had a leak under our kitchen sink, and justin asked to me send him a photo, which i promptly did.
justin texted me back to check the sprayer head, as the leak likely seemed to be there. and he was correct. a trip to the hardware store, a new washer, and the leak had been taken care of, for $0 charge.
what a refreshing experience !!
all my future plumbing jobs are going to these wonderful folks.

Fair disclosure: I haven't had Justin do the actual job yet (though I will, once I actually get my act together), but I thought I should write this review of his visit for an estimate, contrasting it with my experiences with other plumbers I called (skip to the end if you just want to know what I think of Just-In-Time Plumbing).
My problem: a broken water main that goes from the back of my house to the laundry room in the garage. So I was calling a number of plumbers to get estimates to replace the line. Responses varied greatly. Plumber #1, who actually fixed a different part of my water main a number of years ago, never bothered to call me back. #2 gave an estimate over the phone; he treated me like an intelligent human being, but the estimate was very high (hiring unemployed lawyers to dig a trench?). #3 decided he couldn't for the life of him comprehend the problem I was prattling on about on the phone, and asked me to send pictures by email. I did, but never heard from him again. #4 seemed to take offense at having been asked to give an estimate for the job. His line was that he is a one-man operation, and couldn't be expected to dig trenches and stuff. (How dare I ask???) Then he recommended #6 for the job. Three different plumbers came out to the house and gave me an estimate. I generally also asked how much it would cost to temporarily just cap the line. #5 fist kept questioning my judgement about where the water main break was. When he discussed the job with his boss over the phone, he repeated my comment about pricing to cap the line: ""and then she said wow, $15 for a part to cap the line, that seems expensive, ha ha ha"". Unlikely that I'll hire someone who makes fun of me... #6 came out to give me an estimate, which started out high and kept getting lower. For capping the line, he first said, ""oh, about $250"". Me: ""what, $250 to cap the line???!?"" Him: ""well, maybe only $180"". Me: ""$180??"" Him: ""Well, there's the one hour minimum charge, plus the parts. So about $150. Or maybe $120, really. It really just takes five minutes..."" Then, just before writing up the estimate for replacing the line, he exclaims: ""Well, really, you don't need a 1-inch line there; 3/4 inch will do just fine! That's what you have right now. So that should be cheaper."" Then proceeds to lower his estimate for the line replacement again. Fat chance I'll hire someone who would have happily charged the dumb [...] $250 for a five-minute job.
Then Justin came out to look at the job. He believed me when I told him where I thought the break was, and why (wow). In general, he treated me like an intelligent human being. He said that to save money, I could dig the trench for the line myself, or hire day workers for it. He came up with the lowest estimate. And then he capped the line at the house - for free, in under five minutes. What else is there to say?
