I hired him to fix a faucet. He bought a faucet from home depot and installed it. However, when he left, my tenant told me that the faucet was not properly attached to the base and it was moving on touching. see the video: https://youtube.com/shorts/C_OizoX3jJw?feature=share
I called him and first he tried to blame the tenant for not obeying his instruction to ""not touch it until it is dry so that the caulk can dry"". I think that was a lame excuse because the caulk is to prevent leaks, not to provide support the faucet so that it doesn't move. Then he started blaming the faucet and said ""it was a cheap plastic faucet that nobody uses"" and he will install a more expensive one. I suspected he is not being honest told him I will hire someone to fix his work. Indeed, I then hired ""on-time plumbing"" and they fixed the same faucet and noted it was improperly installed. He eventually refunded me the labor fee, though.

Juan was great. He came out really late at night when he lives pretty far, and gave a very reasonable price despite the effort he had to make to get here. Once he was here, he was able to replace our leaky valve in very short time. Great guy!

We had just moved into our new home a week ago and on day two were already experiencing a clogged kitchen sink. We tried Drain-O and other tools to get it unclogged with no luck. My garbage disposal wasn't working properly so Juan came out to assess the issue. Yep, I needed a new one so he ran over to Home Depot and picked one up, installed it, and it has been working great every since. I really appreciate Juan as he is experienced, expediente, kind, and his rates are reasonably. I agree with Scott C, most plumbers take advantage of consumers but Juan is an honest and fair.

I have noticed recently that many of the plumbers out there are using an unethical tactic to extort money. Basically what they do is demand an upfront payment before they come on site. Usually around $90. Then once they are onsite tell you it will be $200 additional for them to do the job.

So you are stuck either paying them way too much, or they leave, and you either loose your original deposit, or have to fight to get it back.

Juan gave me a flat rate. He came out and fixed the problem. He cleaned up the entire area before he left. He work shoe coverings each time he entered our house.

Understandably he is busy. But worth waiting for to get the job done right and a fair and upfront price.

After my inquiry on the night of July 3rd, Juan showed up on July 4th while I was assuming I had to wait for at least a day due to the holiday. The charge is very low compared to his quality work. Highly recommended!
