This was my first experience ever with a plumber since I have only been a homeowner for about 3 months. I bought a house that had known plumbing issues and found these guys over Yelp.
The first guy came and was very friendly but wasn't able to do much for me. He assessed the issue but wasn't able to give me a quote and I handed a check for $88 over for God knows what.
The second time, 2 people came. They were also unable to do anything for me due to poor communication within the company (they didn't have the necessary materials to go under the house because they weren't aware they had to).
The third time, it was just one person. He was the owner. He went under the house and I was charged $109. I can live with that. I was paying for an actual service and what I thought would be a quote. I was told I would get the quote later that day. I didn't receive it so I called the next day and they said they'd do it in the next couple hours. It never came and I haven't heard from them since.
Also, throughout this process, what I believe to be their receptionist was unfriendly during phone calls. Not rude but rather cold, lacking the warmth typical in the customer service industry.
I really wanted the job done in the next week or so but I guess they decided they didn't want to do it and failed to communicate that with me.

IN SHORT
I paid one guy for I don't even know what and I paid for someone to go under my house and have not gotten any written report about what they discovered (what needs to be done) or how much it is going to cost even after calling to remind them.

We found working with JR Plumbing worked really well for us. Belvedere residences have a unique building plumbing system and is a gated community.

Their familiarity with the community meant that they could enter through the electronic gate. They also showed up with the part needed to repair the master shower because they know the community's faucets, toilets, and hardware. Made the plumbing repair a one stop visit, which worked great for us!

Scott was the technician. He was funny, friendly, and very willing to explain how the buildings plumbing works. We have a downstairs residence. Important to understand that back ups begin low. We highly recommend JR plumbing for the Belvedere residents.

We personally enjoyed Scott's knowledge and willingness to share how things work. We'd recommend him for any location's plumbing needs. Scott was very compassionate and full of thankful celebration that I am a living miracle. Just a genuine and neat guy!

An electrician doing work in my attic (slab foundation house) knocked a gas line and caused a gas leak. JR's P&D performed after hours emergency work. I called at 5:00pm and the plumber was on site at 7:30pm -- the same day!

After an initial assessment, he explained the overall plan and then as each step progressed, provided me an update on what he did and what he would do next. When PG&E arrived on site around 9:30pm to turn the gas back on, he walked the utility technician through everything he did and re-checked every gas appliance.

The attic crawl space is horrific (very narrow, gabling that impedes access, hot as hell, etc.) but the plumber, Derek, took it on like a champ and never complained, even when he had to cut out the existing hard gas line (with little or no room to saw the pipe or swing a hammer) and replace it with flex line. He put his ALL into it and hustled! Not a moment wasted!

Since the offending electrician was picking up the repair cost, the office staff were very helpful in coordinating his payment. Also, their dispatch checked in with me frequently, providing updates on the plumbers ETA from the time I called, around 5:00pm, until they arrived on site.

All told, he was VERY courteous, extremely respectful and even laughed at my jokes :-) Nice, professional young man. Great response time and good work performed.

We needed a plumber for a very clogged toilet. The man who arrived was very nice and actually ended up not charging us and showed us the correct way to plunge a toilet. Great business!

Called Sunday morning to replace a kitchen sink faucet that is leaking. They came to the house in less than an hour quoting us $109 - $150 for it. I called a handy man prior to do it but he said that he did not have the tool to remove a bolt under the sink. Christian Plumbing was able to do it. After removing, we realized that we purchased a three hole faucet while our sink only has one hole. The technician went to Home Depot to get the faucet replaced. Technician was really friendly and they have a 180 warranty on the work.

I highly recommend them. I spoke to Cedrick on the phone and told him what was going on. The water was backing up into my front yard. I wasn't sure what the problem was and he was able to tell me what the problem was and be gave me a quote over the phone. Which I liked cause most places would've been like they can't quote over the phone without seeing what the problem was. They were at my house within 2 hours. JR the Plummer/Drain guy was really polite.

I recommend using this business whole heartedly. I needed a gas line extended and and a gas oven installed in short order. Best Buy from whom I had ordered the oven had mucked up the delivery dates and did not have the professionals necessary to extend the line. I started the process all over again and landed with Christian plumbing for two reasons , a Christian business and a very high rating on Yelp. I can now vouch why they are rated high.Efficient, timely and trust worthy ! yOu can't go wrong !

Last August 25, 2015 , I needed a plumber for my restaurant in Vallejo . I found Christian Plumbing at Yelp . Very good reviews .the business name itself CHRISTIAN PLUMBING and their logo of the Holy Cross made me decide to avail of their services .

After a few hours I booked the service , Jasmine dispatched Anthony to the site and checked the water heater . He billed us $500 and we paid him in cash . He said he will be back the next day to check on it again and bring with him the receipt . He came back as promised but he said the receipt will be emailed and gave us a business card . He never showed up.

I called Jasmine and told her the water heater wasn't fixed . And we needed a receipt. She denied having sent anyone but said she will tell Anthony about it .
Anthony came back the next day and assured us there was a warranty . He wasn't able to fix it !!

We called Jasmine the other day . To my surprise she denied having had any transaction with us . And said there was no warranty as Anthony no longer works with them .

I had to pay $88 per hour or $109 per hour if after 5 pm.
I agreed . She booked me the next day December 2 between 11 and 3 pm
. I waited but no one came . I called Jasmine and she said the technician came by 2X but employees said water heater was working well . She suggested I call Preferred Plumbing , who are much better . This pissed me off !! I smell something wrong . Owner is not aware there is another business going on in his business !

Be careful yelpers ! Don't be deceived by the business name , 5 star reviews and their Holy Cross logo . Pay by check or by card and get a written warranty !!

Yesterday was the day my family had planned to have a big Christmas party for 30-40 people. Just about an hour before people were set to arrive, we had a major plumbing issue that was going to require us to shut off the water main to the house. It was about 3:00pm on the weekend, and we needed someone ASAP. I called 7 different plumbing companies and Christian Plumbing and Drain was THE ONLY place that could send a technician out in a timely manner (we were told we could have another plumber out at midnight) but Christian Plumbing could send someone within the hour.
JR was on time! JR was very friendly, polite, and professional! He really saved our party.
We told everyone at the party how great the service was and will definitely keep recommending them.

Called up Christian Plumbing to have my leaking drip system checked out for an estimate. Set up an appointment with them, and before hanging up, i casually tried to confirm that they do free estimates, and to my surprise, it's a $110 charge. I'm 10 miles away (plus a toll bridge), but this is something to be upfront about. I smell a scammy nature here, despite all the 5 star ratings here, be careful with them!
