My garbage disposal stopped working and my sink wouldn't drain. I called JR's Plumbing and Draining and the friendly service rep dispatched Cedric to my home within a few hours.

Cedric was courteous, professional and very thorough. He repaired my disposal and unclogged my sink within 20-30 minutes. He also checked for any possible leaks or other plumbing issues.

This is my second time using JR's and once again they provided top notch quality service at a fair and affordable rate.

So happy I discovered JRs plumbing and drain, a local company. My water heater went out suddenly so I started researching companies. JRs came up with high star reviews so I gave them a call at 8 PM to schedule the next day. Scott, the plumber showed up right on time if not 30 minutes early which was fine by us. We considered repairing vs replacing but after Scott informed us of the pros and cons of each, we decided to replace our 14 year old water heater. Scott was able to start immediately and the job was completed within 2.5 hrs. Scott is professional, knowledgeable, friendly and worked covid safe with a mask the entire time in this heat. So happy with our decision to use JRs. We now have a top of the line water heater up to code. I highly recommend them!

We have been using JR's plumbing for the past 3 years. They are always very responsive and have incredibly talented staff. Over the years they have installed a pressure control valve (Vallejo water pressure was too high and was damaging our pipes), repaired our bathroom faucet that was leaking, replaced a section of piping that rusted through, dealt with the tree roots in our system and cleared out our main drain.

Fantastic! I had to call because my kitchen sinks were blocked up. Even though my call was dropped and repeated call backs didn't go through, the receptionist called back within 15 minutes! I was very impressed. We set up an appointment window for that afternoon. Carlos was even early which turned out to be a good thing. The poor guy was here for 4 hours! One thing after another contributed to the problem, none of it his doing...it's a very old house after all. All through the various frustrations, we all maintained a lighter demeanor and we tried to help (turned faucet on & off) while he did the fixing part. Carlos was GREAT! I hope he gets assigned to us if there's ever another problem. We will definitely call JR'S Plumbing if we ever need that service again. We HIGHLY recommend them.

I can't believe I haven't reviewed JR's Plumbing sooner. These guys are worth their weight in gold! We live in a mid century home with it's original plumbing combined with some Mcgyver-esque ""improvements"" the previous owners did over the years. The first time we used their services I found them on Yelp. Our situation was a clog, that turned into something bigger. It ended up being a major clog that required Scott going underneath the house and cutting out and replacing a section of pipe. And since he was here he also replaced the p-trap of our utility sink and a couple other small things that we asked for. The quote was reasonable, the service was excellent and the work is holding up well.

Then we had an incident where a disposable toilet brush got flushed down the toilet. Again, old pipes, old toilet. Cedric suggested it would be more cost effective to replace the toilet than try to repair. It was an old toilet, so no love lost there. Within a couple hours we had a shiny new toilet expertly installed. No mess left in the bathroom, great communication and again at a reasonable price.

Then, last week we needed JR Plumbing once again for our little old house. Our water pressure went to absolute crap within the last month. Scott walked around and cleared the lines that he could in the bathroom sink and shower. But the kitchen faucet was too full of rust and corrosion to clear so he suggested we get a new one. I hated that faucet honestly, so within a couple hours he put a shiny new faucet. And also fixed a small leak under the same sink by replacing a corroded washer. Again our pipes aren't easy to work with. He put in a lot of effort getting the old faucet out which I appreciate. He also let us know that the only real fix at some point is to repipe. But there was no pressure from in the form of upsells or fear based sales tactics. Just honest advice. Which I appreciate so much. And having the new faucet and repairs done by JR Plumbing cost less than just buying a new faucet.

Lastly, it's very easy to make an appointment by phone. They have a dedicated person who always answer the phones and they are very quick to schedule an appointment when time is of the essence. (Ahem, one bathroom house). And they take Credit Cards. Which is great when you have a plumbing emergency. If I have to pay for a repair, it's always nice to get Amex points/miles out of it.

Carlos from JR's Plumbing & Draining just came out to clear some clogged drains for me. He was extremely helpful. I received a rough estimate over the phone when I made the appointment. Before Carlos started he gave me a quote for the work that was very reasonable and pretty much what I had been quoted over the phone. It turns out there were roots growing in my pipes. It was a difficult job but the final price was exactly what he had quoted. He showed me that the roots were still small and flexible so that, although there were a couple of wads of them, they weren't big enough to damage the pipes. He was very informative. In addition, they warranty their work so if the drains back up again within 30 days they will come out and fix them for free.

The only con is that they were so busy he arrived about 1 1/2 hours after my appointment window. I'm still giving them a 5* review... the service was that good.

I would absolutely call them again. They are knowledgeable, reasonable, and trustworthy.

Called several places in the Vallejo area and JR's came through. Scott showed up and fixed a problem we thought might be bigger than expected. It was an easy fix! Scott was prepared to check for the leak and ready to crawl under the house too! Thank you Scott for your great customer service! JR's will definitely be my go-to plumber in Vallejo!

Phenomenal job! I accidentally flushed my daughters toothbrush down the toilet and not only did he show up earlier than initially planned, he was fast and efficient. Reasonably priced and friendly. Definitely recommend and will absolutely hire again (hopefully last time will the toothbrush in the toilet)
