I was looking for a plumber to help me with my leaky water heater in an apartment building. I needed someone to come out quickly. I looked online and found Jones Plumbing and Heating. I called them out first thing on a Monday morning and they were there before noon. They fixed the water heater that was leaking and also fixed some other leaks that they found and lit a pilot light in my furnace heater. They were very helpful, hardly charged me anything and were honest(which is hard to find these days). I was afraid that they were going to soak me for a whole new water heater that I didn't really need. Very happy with the service.

Jones service did two jobs for me. They installed a new sink with disposal and under sink plumbing, and a new water heater. Both jobs done within one day of my request, and the work was very good. The thermostat on the water heater went bad after 8 months, and they fixed it within a day and free under warranty. I will use them again for any plumbing job I need.

If you are looking for a company with responsive follow up warranty services, you should look elsewhere. Glenn Jones does not return calls or emails, particularly if he off fishing for 2 months.

Were very efficient at fixing 2 leaks during one service call, even driving to get a needed part, and then made an appointment another day for roto rooting for our third problem. The roto rooter was a second pair of eyes and figured out that roto rooting was unnecessary and my slow drain was a result of small pipes in my house relative to the speed at which my clothes washer discharges water. Didn't charge for the roto rooting, appreciate they didn't charge me unnecessarily for that!

I have used Jones Plumbing Service 7 times for a variety of jobs the past the past 14 years since I have owned my house and have always been satisfied with the quality and integrity of their work and prices. I am guided by their advice on plumbing repairs and they have never recommended unneeded services. They give phone quotes and are very prompt in their arrival times. I have not had the same experience with other tradesmen. I would highly recommend Jones Plumbing for any type of plumbing services.

I bought an older mobile home in San Marcos that needed plumbing repair and updating. Jones had an ad in our HOA magazine ""Seniors helping Seniors"" so I called and spoke with a nice woman who said that they were going to be in my park that afternoon and someone would call to arrange a time to come by and consult with me. It's been over a week and nothing, nada, zilch.

I called and left a voice message on a Thursday evening to schedule an appointment. I did not hear from them the next day so I called them again on Friday evening. I spoke to a lady and explained what I needed done and she told me that a plumber would call me that evening with a quote. I didn't get a phone call.

I called again Monday and the lady explained that she had lost my information and appologized profusely. I scheduled an appointment for the following Friday to have the work done. I was told he would be there between 3 PM and 4PM. I called him at 4 PM and was told that they got stuck on a job and was told that he (the plumber) was on his way from Oceanside. ( l live in San Marcos).

When he got there, he worked quickly and efficiently. He installed my faucet and my garbage disposal. He had to do some re-routing of my drain lines under the kitchen sink and did a great job. When he looked at my bathroom, he needed an additional part and scheduled for the following Monday at 3 PM.

Well, you guessed it, at 3:45 I called him to see what was the problem and this lady told me that he was stuck on a job and would be at least another 45 minutes. About an hour later, the plumber showed up (one of his associates). And he did not have the part necessary and was not told he needed the part. So he had to re-schedule for the next morning.

Tuesday, he came and finished the repairs on the bathroom sink.

As I said earlier, his work was excellent, but he couldn't get there on time. I re-sceduled my day to accommodate him, and he couldn't take the time to call me and let me know he was running late. If you don't mind being kept on hold for a couple of hours after the appointment time, this company is great. Otherwise, he gets the 3 stars for not showing up on time or even near on time.

I am not really sure if I will use this company again.

To the owner I have to say that a simple phone call around the appointment time letting your customer know that you are running late would be greatly appreciated by at least me.
