Absolutely substandard service, unprofessional, and unreliable.

Jones Plumbing, Jones Service, was hired by my apartment management to fix water pipes damaged under the slab.

The apartment manager, completely great guy called to tell me work was going to be done in my unit. I was assured then would lay down plastic or paper to walk on as I had just washed my rugs, which really tied the room together.

When I arrived home, the black suit I have in my closet had drywall dust on the shoulders. When I asked who was responsible for that, each technician/employee said ""not me"" or ""I don't know"".

They left a whole in the wall and didn't bother to close it, the perfect entry point for rats and insects.

The next day, they left my door unlocked and ajar while they worked in the unit behind me. Computers, firearms, documents, anything in my home could have been taken with no one the wiser for hours.

When I brought these issues up, they whined and huffed, said they would not finish the work they started, and left.

They also used my plastic food storage containers to catch leaking water as they worked, then left it on the counters I had cleaned only 2 days prior.


You've been warned, so avoid these guys if you work hard for your money.

Zero stars if possible, big ol' ""F"" on the grading scale.

Jones ""Service,"" a new definition of ""lousy."" They seem to have a reputation for not keeping appointments, but for us they did show up - 3.5 hours early, a very inconvenient and unexpected time for us. We asked that they return at the agreed-upon appointed time and they simply said they couldn't. Our problem was a dishwasher that would not drain completely - perhaps a clogged drain? We won't learn from them though, because they didn't even look at the issue but simply said ""if it's draining at all then it's the dishwasher and we don't work on appliances."" Period. The visit was all of three minutes.

Postscript, I read below that Jones said he called first - he absolutely did NOT.

Lastly, That ""free"" service/estimate he was to provide us was a coupon he handed out at our mobile homeowner association meeting. When some months later, he came to the house our mistake was showing him the coupon prior to him providing the work - in my estimation, he saw that and was out-of-there!

I called this company yesterday as our kitchen sink was clogged. He was swamped with calls but said he would get here asap. He is very reasonable and efficient, friendly, fast and knowledgeable about mobile home plumbing and he fixed our issue. We expected to pay a lot for this service but had a coupon in our mobile home newsletter . We will use him again if needed! GREAT service!

I was looking for a plumber to help me with my leaky water heater in an apartment building. I needed someone to come out quickly. I looked online and found Jones Plumbing and Heating. I called them out first thing on a Monday morning and they were there before noon. They fixed the water heater that was leaking and also fixed some other leaks that they found and lit a pilot light in my furnace heater. They were very helpful, hardly charged me anything and were honest(which is hard to find these days). I was afraid that they were going to soak me for a whole new water heater that I didn't really need. Very happy with the service.

Jones service did two jobs for me. They installed a new sink with disposal and under sink plumbing, and a new water heater. Both jobs done within one day of my request, and the work was very good. The thermostat on the water heater went bad after 8 months, and they fixed it within a day and free under warranty. I will use them again for any plumbing job I need.

If you are looking for a company with responsive follow up warranty services, you should look elsewhere. Glenn Jones does not return calls or emails, particularly if he off fishing for 2 months.

Were very efficient at fixing 2 leaks during one service call, even driving to get a needed part, and then made an appointment another day for roto rooting for our third problem. The roto rooter was a second pair of eyes and figured out that roto rooting was unnecessary and my slow drain was a result of small pipes in my house relative to the speed at which my clothes washer discharges water. Didn't charge for the roto rooting, appreciate they didn't charge me unnecessarily for that!
