Plumbing problems in our homes cause anxiety! I checked reviews on Yelp and chose to call Johnny Rooter because they had good reviews and were near my house.
The kind woman who answered took all my info quickly and said someone could be a my house shortly (because he had just finished another job). Cameron was at my house in about 10 minutes! He quickly solved my problem - whew! The price seemed reasonable. Besides that, Cameron was professional, personable and communicated well!

After calling around speaking to other places for help with my washing machine drain overflow, so glad I scheduled Johnny Rooter Plumbing. The price was lower than others, the service fantastic.

They came out next day - Nathan was Great! He set up, cleared the drain, and had the problem fixed within minutes!

I had used a previous company before and I thought they were good. It was Extreme Plumbing and Hydro. I had roots in my sewer line and Extreme came out and ran a line 6 ft down. The issue came back in a week. I called them back and they wanted me to pay $16k to dig and replace the line. They said running a line further down wouldn't solve the issue. I called Johnny Rooter and they came with another solution and ran a line further down while cutting roots. Johnny Rooter said it wasn't necessary to dig and replace. This company is honest, fast and priced well. I trust them and will definitely use them again for plumbing needs.

I paid Extreme the first time to run a line, which cost more than Johnny, and they didn't fix the issue. AND Extreme didn't even apologize for the issue coming back within a week nor did they offer a refund or another solution other than the $16k option. Definitely not using Extreme again.

Called a bunch of plumbers for a stopped sewer problem that I needed help with right away after hours. Johnny Rooter called back within 20 minutes and the plumber was out a half hour later. He fixed the sewer quickly, before most of the other plumbers even responded. I'm still getting plumber responses this morning (that's how long others take!). Was great that I could get help so fast. Connor the plumber had a great attitude and did a good job.

We had both hot and cold valves break on our outdoor tankless water heater. We called to make an appointment and it was going to be a couple of days. I called back and explained we had no water at all since the cold water valve going into the heater was badly leaking so we turned the water off at the street. They moved us up on their schedule and had us fixed quickly. They were knowledgeable, locally owned and a longtime Austin business.

Our HOA called Johnny Rooter to come fix a problem with a broken, stopped up sewer pipe that was filled with roots. They were fast, responsive and the price was right. Tara, who answers the phone, was nice. This is the second time we have called them about an emergency and gotten a quick, great repair. Another plumbing company had given a very high bid and some confusing information. Johnny Rooter spent time on the phone to explain their process, charged a reasonable hourly rate and saved us lots of money.

Total pros! Answered phone, came when promised, super clean, got job done quickly and efficiently great upfront pricing honest. Unclogged a sink that required snake to go deep into the plumbing pipes for $158.50! My new plumbers! Gives me hope that there are still great companies in Austin!

They showed up quickly. They resolved the clog (kitchen drain below past wall) quickly. They did not try to upsell unnecessary services like others (camera, pressure wash inside of pipe, etc.). They were very reasonably priced.

No complaints. Just done right at a reasonable price.
