I have used John White's services for over a decade, both in my business (for clients) as well as in my own home. I've always found them responsive, professional and fairly priced. His employees are highly competent, have excellent communication, write clear invoices and above all, are genuinely genuinely nice people -- many of whom are long-time employees. This speaks very well about the operation on many levels. I know from experience how frustrated people can get with the cost and headache of trying to sort out plumbing problems that crop up (and some people will never be happy) but I have a fair amount of exposure to various vendors and this is a company I return to for myself and for others for plumbing and rootering and inspections.

it is now 12:45AM!!! I called John White's Rooter connection about a clogged sink and water rising above the toilet and into the floors and hallway... I panicked as I have two little kids and wasn't sure what to do with this crazy mess and not toilet. Israel showed up within 20 minutes. He was pleasant, kind and very sweet. He was so careful and respectful making sure to not be too loud as the kids were sleeping. He cleaned up after himself and took the time to explain to me at nearly 1AM what was the issue! all with such a polite and kind demeanor. I asked him who his boss was and the name of the owner... he said with pride and a big smile ""John White"" he voluntarily added ""I have worked with him for 20 years, I feel so blessed and lucky to have this man as my boss"" ALL I WANT TO SAY TO YOU JOHN WHITE IS: IF YOUR WORKERS CAN SPEAK THIS WAY ABOUT YOU THAN YOU HAVE BUILT SOMETHING REALLY AMAZING. A true legacy! It is very rare to see this! I loved the service but now knowing your company is run with integrity and respect towards your employees, makes me want to support you guys even more. I would deffffff recommend ! G-d Bless!

PREDATORY PRICING AND PRACTICES!!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! I am remodeling my bathroom and called John White to have them install a p-trap and shower faucet. Normal rate is $125 hr. When the plumber arrived he arrived with a partner and no one told me when I booked the appt. 2 people would mean $200 hr. I was also not provided a quote before work was started which was not an issue since I knew the rate. Had I known I would be charged $200 hr I would have cancelled. Once here the plumber recommended I adjust the faucet height and let them install the tub which my contractor planned to do. Again, at $125 I had no issue, but there is no way I would have approved the additional work which did not require 2 people had I been told. I was just charged $700 for 3 hrs of work. Please beware of this company and shop around. I believe strongly this is a predatory practice and pricing model and a licensed insured plumber can be found who only charges $100 or so an hour even if they have help. I did call the company to try to resolve this with the owner and he was unwilling to help, said pricing stands. So my review stands and I will encourage my neighbors to look elsewhere for plumbing needs. Strongly encourage you to do the same.

I have had to call at all odd hours and on Sunday, someone always responds. They are professional and clean up nicely after they are finished. The work is guaranteed and the prices are fair, you get what you pay for, right!
It's nice to know that you can depend on service when you need it.
If you'd ever tried to get a roofer when it rains or an a/c person when its 90 and the air has gone out you know what I mean. Most service businesses close up Friday afternoon and do not answer the phone till Monday. Thats unacceptable with technology today. John White has you covered 7 days a week!

2 years ago John White Plumbing company in Santa Monica put in a new water & there were problems with lighting the pilot.. I called numerous times and they would not honor their work. Today, I found out from the manufacture that it was installed improperly and I received rain damage. The warrantee does not cover rain damage. Consequently, to repair the damage it is going to cost in excess of $500. I would not even rate them one star.

On September 10 and September 15, 2019
The site manager Natasha Bialuski at Heather Village Condos in Culver City, CA put a letter and a invoice for $180.00 on my door from John White Plumbing and Rooter Connection. Natasha said in her letter that a service call was made and that John White Plumbing and Rooter connection came to my unit on a service call on 7/15/2019.I never contacted this plumbing company nor did a plumber from this company come to my unit. My first problem is the invoice didn't have my name on it just the unit no. Secondly, why is the site manager Natasha Bialuski taking it upon herself to send me a letter and invoice from a plumbing co.? Is that her job? No inquiries were made. Just a threatening letter. Now the Heather Village Association condominium board of directors wants me to come to a hearing about a invoice that I know nothing about and didn't have any work done in my unit by the above-names plumber Yes, I filed a complaint with the state of California Contractor Bureau.
