Good guy! Came quickly and handled new faucet and drain installation. I didn't have the right parts for dishwasher and he jury-rigged a hose line. Leaks but worth the try. He is worth considering. I recommend him. He will be coming back to change out a shower valve stem and install the right dishwasher discharge hose.

John is very good. He is direct and to the point, but do not take it as an insult. He does not negotiate his price and he is honest about that and you finding a cheaper plumber. Some think it rude, but I find it better then BS-ing me.

I had him come out to look at a problem...he said oh """"he can fix it no problem."""" When the time came to do it he said """"it could not be done"""" Not sure if he was trying to get more money or what. He obviously did not remember speaking with me the time before. :(

Came home to find the hot water tank wasn't working and of course this happens on a Friday. Called John Thurston Plumbing and they were there in an hour. Diagnosed the problem and fixed it. Will definitely use this company again.

I called This company to inquire about coming out to a home that I manage in the area. He was very rude overall and ended up hanging up to me. I was hoping to have a great relationship with a plumber for this home and another; however during his call, he was unwilling to work with me because I am work for a property management company and he's fighting to get paid from other management companies. I assured him that this wouldn't be a problem as I could pay at time of work with a credit card. he stated he does not take credit cards. We discussed service fees and then that is where he stated his service call fee of $125 to look at a toilet. From there I asked him if that was standard cost as it seemed a bit high (just a general question as I am not from that area). He then proceeded to say if you don't like it and it's too high then look for someone else. Then he hung up. I called this company because of the high reviews he had. WOW, I was wrong but glad I found out before he did anything on a home that I manage. Will never use this company again, simply rude, unwilling and unprofessional. Can I give 0 Stars??!!

he took no time to figure out the problem - just grabbed the spout and twisted it - and broke the pipe off down inside the wall - if he had taken a minute, he cld have secured the pipe w/ a wrench and twisted the spout off the way it was supposed to be done - after he broke the pipe and pulled it out of the wall, he showed me how the spout just twisted off - he had to cut a hole in the wall to replace the pipe he broke - he did not apologize - nor did he repair the hole in the wall or caulk the new spout - he told me my husband cld do both jobs - he charged $155 for less than half an hour of work - I asked what his hourly rate was and he said $90 - the new spout he put in was cheap builder grade chrome - I had priced them at Home Depot and the ones that were twice as heavy were only $30 - so even if his minimum was an hour of labor, he still way overcharged me - and left an ugly hole in the wall for us to repair -

Awesome service! I called about my hot water heater and he offered to assist by phone or come look at it. He was here in 30 minutes and showed me the problem and fixed it. I received a follow up call the next morning to see if I was having any more problems. Highly recommend!!
