$6,000 repair estimate that we fixed instead with a $1.00 tablet and blowing out a line. The problem is that they told us our A/C water leak was from a leaking drain pan that would be $1500 to replace, or, if unreplaceable, $5,000 for to put in a new air conditioner (a little closet unit) plus $1,000 for some certification thing. We decided that if we couldn't just glue/seal the leak in the pan we'd put our own drain pan in the area below the unit and reposition the pump to keep it drained. That would have cost $7 and some time, but it turned out that the drain line was simply plugged. It was terribly obvious. It turned out that we were supposed to be dropping a little tablet into the drain pipe every couple of months (thanks Google). We didn't know. They could have told us that rather than suggesting a $6,000 repair.

I hired This company to replace two water heaters in my duplex a week ago. I paid over two thousand dollars to get this done. They told me they would install them up to code. Turns out they only used one strap to bolt one heater to the wall. Code is to use two straps per water heater. I had to call them to get it fixed. I would not use this company again. Unbelievable shoddy and fraudulent work.

If you need a reliable and qualified plumber call John Padilla Plumbing, Heating & Air. I did and was very happy with their promptness, courteous and professional services.
When you least expect it, your water heater goes out, floods the entire garage and you're in the midst of hosting folks for dinner that night. I had called on Padilla Plumbing in the past and did not hesitate to call on them again. Within the hour of my frantic phone call a professional plumber was sent to my home. He determined my 16 year old water heated had finally given out and needed to be replaced. While draining the water heater the plumber called the office and advised we needed a new water heater. One and half hour later the owner of the company, Mr. Padilla himself showed up with a spanking brand new water heater. They both removed my old heater and reconnected the new without a glitch. Did I mention that they also made sure my garage was all mopped up and tidy.
I will definitely be referring them to my friends and family. Thank you Mr. Padilla and staff you're the best!

These guys are great! On the few days it gets cold here in SD, my heater broke, and they were able to send a crew over within hours to fix it. Justin and his team-Daniel and Javier-were very friendly and respectful. I felt like Justin wanted me to have what was best for the house, and explained all of the options so we could make an educated decision about which direction to go in (we needed to fix both the heater and the ac). All repair work was done well and explained thoroughly...Justin even took a trip up to the attic to troubleshoot a vent! Victor in the office was patient and helpful with all of our questions and I am very thankful for this painless experience! Thank you guys again for all of your help!

Just had John Padilla Plumbing install our HVAC and we couldn't be happier and more satisfied. Justin, Javier, and Thomas, the gentlemen who were onsite and installed our systems, are true professionals who know their stuff. Very friendly and very conscientious, all three were incredible to with. As for the equipment and level of workmanship, all top notch and high marks across the board. Padilla Plumbing was also kind enough to upgrade, at no additional cost to us, our furnace fan to increase airflow throughout the house after Justin's recommendation to do so after the initial home appointment/estimate in combination with our home needs. John Padilla Plumbing came highly recommended from other contractors (a huge plus in our eyes) we are currently working with on other repairs/upgrades currently going on at our home and we can now confirm they have earned the recommendations. Incredible service. Prompt and always courteous when they come. I have 3 properties I use these plumbing services for. They are always the best priced and have always left cleaner than they came. I had them snake my shower today which the company my building uses for plumbing said didn't have to be snaked. It clearly did because the water is actually draining now which it hadn't for over a month. They also do great work for heating and air conditioning. I have found my number one plumbing company in San Diego.

Had a great experience using John Padilla Heating and Air to do a diagnostic ($89 which was the lowest of several companies that I called) and repair of an A/C unit. Justin was my technician and both times that he came out he was on time, very professional, and did a great job on the work. I would definitely use them again for any future work!

We used John Padilla Plumbing Inc.and had a Mitsubishi Ductless Air Conditioner installed yesterday by their field supervisor Justin & his assistant Javier. So far fabulous!!!

I can't say enough good things about this company. They are the most honest, reliable and professional plumbing and HVAC company we (Advent Real Estate and Property Management) use. I love the office staff. Victor and Sam are so good on the phone! They reply promptly on email and invoicing is the best! This is long overdue. We had an issue with our A/C, it wasn't cooling. I had some guy with white gloves come out the year before and charge a considerable amount of $$$ to recharge the A/C. 9 months later and the A/C wasn't cooling again. This time I contacted John Padilla Plumbing and Justin came out the next day. He was very professional and did a great job diagnosing the issue. Unlike the previous troubleshooting effort by another company, Justin was precise and not concerned with up-selling. The price was very fair and I was 100% satisfied with the job performed.
