Very disappointed in John Padilla's over-priced services. My tenants called them to fix a toilet that wouldn't flush. They charged $418 to replace a bad fill valve (a $10 part). I asked around to other plumbers in San Diego and got quotes around $175-$275 for the same job. But my tenants had already used them so it was too late to use someone else.

Also, the tech noted on the invoice other issues, like a corroded angle stop, and a rocking/loose toilet, but he didn't fix these issues during his visit. If they are going to charge a premium penny for their visits, they should fix other minor toilet issues while they are out there (and charge for materials, as needed).

I tried to call John Padilla to discuss and see if there was anything they could do, they would not. They gave a speech about prices in CA being high, and they said they they don't charge by the hour, so if they had done these extra minor repairs they would have tacked on more fees to the visit.

Their pricing model is ridiculous. I use vendors frequently at my various properties, and I would not recommend this company or use them in the future. They are not reasonable with pricing.

DO NOT USE this company. Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience with John Padilla Plumbing Company. They are EXTREMELY OVER PRICED and did NOT resolve our plumbing issue after two visits and high charge. They charged us $350 to unclog ""a pipe"" issue and quoted us ANOTHER $350 for a camera scope to check out all of the rest of the pipes. Yet, most companies offer a camera scope check for free. The company also quoted us over $900 to fix our ice machine line to our refrigerator. I also noticed the technician was fairly new and didn't seem to have much experience in performing a thorough inspection. He was kind but did not have proper equipment or didn't clean up anything afterwards. My bad experience is based on the entire lack of progress and high price they charge. We still have a plumbing issue now and decided to go with another company. It appears they are more transactional versus customer service based. I DO NOT recommend going with this company at all.

I highly recommend John Padilla Plumbing. Arnold Valadez provided quality work and great customer service throughout the entire process from start to finish. I had my water heater replaced by John Padilla Plumbing a little over 3 years ago and it recently sprung a leak. Luckily the water heater had a 6 year manufacturer's warranty, so John Padilla Plumbing honored the manufacturer's warranty and replaced the faulty water heater with a brand new water heater and charged only labor costs to replace. Thanks again for a job well done!

Brandon came out to fix my shower. When he was packing things up in the bathroom he noticed a leak under the sink and he fixed that too without any hesitation. I highly recommend John Padilla Plumbing. They were on time and courteous. Got the job done in record time.

Last week I had John Padilla Plumbing (""JPP"") come out and replace two tankless water heaters. I scouted around re price/service quality prior to making my decision on JPP. I found the plumbing technicians (Arnold and Sam) to be quite competent and efficient, and the service pricing to be very fair. I was impressed with the overall culture of the organization, and shared those thoughts directly with Victor, JPP General Manager. On the back of my experience, I highly recommend that you consider John Padilla Plumbing when looking for a skilled, cost effective, client centric plumbing service.

We recently had our bathroom sink partially fall through into the cabinet below. After a person could not come out to fix it I called John Padilla plumbing as I have seen their trucks many times around the complex where I live. David Acosta came out and did a no cost appraisal for a repair or the instal of a whole new sink. He thoroughly explained each scenario and which would be the best in his opinion with the long view in mind. I took time to weigh each option and when I decided and called them back Victor answered and was very helpful in scheduling David to come out and do the instal of a new sink. David told me about two to three hours for the job to be done, however he did it on less time than he said and it looks great and works even better. I would highly recommend them if you have plumbing issues. My top thing I would really like to thank John Padilla plumbing for would be the excellent communication and the timely manner in which David arrived for the estimate and completing the work.

We have used John Padilla Plumbing in the past with good service and reasonable prices. Called them for a clogged toilet and the plumber, Devin unclogged it by using a snake. Charged $251! His receipt and business card states Zoom Drain. I looked up Zoom Drain and its a franchise. I called Padilla and complained they took advantage of my elderly relative and found out Padilla is part of Zoom Drain. On the receipt there's no start or end times.
I got the usual statement how expensive it is in Calif and prices had to be raised. I was later offered a 5% discount for being a senior. Wow. So disappointed how Padilla Plumbing has changed and won't call them again.

We required a plumbing work in the garage of our home and Manolo and Martin did an excellent job. We are completely satisfied with the quality of the work performed and the excellent service we received. We will call John Padilla next time if we needed a plumbing service.

This company is extremely over priced.
They will quote you on there cell phone by typing numbers in with a rough amount of hours before even knowing what the problem actually is.

He charged me $1300 for a sink installation that took 3.5 hours and now the sink format drain or work right after paying that.
When I called them they sent the same guy who said he could try snaking it's for $275.
Not covering there end of the deal for warranty 1 week after install.

Still not working and then they quote $700 to re install tubing with me paying for the parts.

I would never use them again!
