Same day service on a Saturday for a quick fix of my garbage disposal. Tom found the piece of plastic that had some how been wedged under the blade. Tom was great, fast and efficient and was able to even clean the calcium buildup I'd been battling with on one of our toilet bowls. Gave me a recommendation for a local appliance repair company as well as our fridge isn't making ice nor dispensing water. One hour service call at a fair price, highly recommend!

I gave up on plumbers sent by my home warranty company and contacted JMP this afternoon. Within minutes I had a response and Russ and his helper arrived within an hour. They were pleasant, efficient and clean. It cost a little more than the ones assigned by FirstAmercan but it was worth it. I will definitely use them in the future and would recommend them for sure.

Had a leak from the wall downstairs that had all the carpet and padding soaked. Called JM and the receptionist answered the phone. Said I would receive a call from a tech shortly. Within minutes (literally 7 mins) I received a call from Jeff and just like that he showed up at the house within 30 mins. One hour later THE JOB WAS DONE!!!! No more leaking!! Plus, he got it done QUICKLY and didn't try to overcharge me for an emergency call on Saturday evening (BEFORE EASTER SUNDAY y'all). if you can't tell, I am very satisfied with the service, professionalism, speed, quality of work, and the price.

With all the rain recently, swollen roots from trees in the yard caused a crack in a pipe between the street and house. John Murray was recommend by a friend and the experience was a good one, start to finish; from understanding and responsive first phone call to John coming out and explaining things. I always call John Murray Plumbing when I have a plumbing problem, they are courteous and always do a thorough job even down to clean up. I even was able to call them for a referral for a heating problem. I do not hesitate to recommend them.

This is a full service, highly reputable, professionally run organization that charges reasonable rates and at the same time provides excellent service. I have used them at least a half a dozen times in the past three years. Their office communicates with me both the morning of the appointment and then within a half hour of the time that the plumbers show up. Russ is one of the plumbers and he is highly knowledgeable and gives excellent advice, also looks for potential problems. I recently called in to follow up on a prior service call and the Scott, was at my home within minutes, to fix the problem. I never hesitate to call this company for any of my plumbing needs and would recommend them to anyone within their service radius. Well done, John Murray Plumbing!

Extremely disappointed with John Murray plumbing. Called on a Saturday due to leak in ceiling and was told someone would be out the same day for their regular rate. I was told I would be called 15-20 minutes before they would arrive. Waited home for their call. Received a call at 3:30 telling me that a plumber wasn't available and now I would be charged the increased rate to still have someone come out. When I discussed this poor customer service with the woman who called me, all she could say was she was sorry. You lost my business JMP as well as my recommendation to others.

Our water heater went out on a Sunday afternoon so with a couple of referrals to John Murray, we called their weekend answering service. The on-call person called us back and assured us they would be able to come replace our water heater the next day (didn't wanna pay for emergency call) and someone would call at 8 AM the next morning to confirm the time. At 8:10 they called and by 10:30 we had a new water heater.
Maybe I could have gotten it done a bit cheaper (although not by much) but it was worth it to have someone respond right away and get it fixed quickly and when they said the would. My reduced stress was worth it!

Our new stove couldn't be pushed all the way back to the wall, because the original gas stub out location, which wasn't a problem with the old stove, was now in the way. Needed it moved down lower to fit properly behind the stove. It took me calling the gas company to realize they don't work on gas lines inside the house, but plumbers do! Wanted to keep our practice of using local independent companies when we can. So contacted John Murray Plumbing.

We set up the appointment a few days in advance, for our convenience, and gave them a 2 hour window. It was nice we were called 15 min before Russ showed up.

Russ was in and out in an hour, did a safe and professional job, performed a leak test, and was very pleasant! And the price was reasonable.

We hope we don't need a plumber again any time soon, but if we do, we'll certainly call JMP again!
