I have had mainline sewer back ups in the past and have had some bad experiences with shady plumbers. I found a great plumber (who i won't name in this review) that I always use to assist and to simply maintain the line. Last night i had another problem and called him but he was on vacation and the other fold from the company couldn't get out to me for a day and a half. i needed this fixed today so i called around and had Jeff from John Murray come out. I chose them because of the decent review on yelp and i have heard the name. After explaining the situation with Jeff he thought that it maybe wasn't my sewer and just augered the toilet that was the 'symptom' that my house gets. He fixed it! It wasn't my sewer so it was quick and easy and very reasonably priced. I will definitely recommend this plumber and the plumber that i usually use. Very happy to find another good plumber.

For the 1st time in 15 years, our main was clogged and everything got backed up. My initial thought was to call Mike Diamond (from the radio ads) who said they would be out in less than two hours. They finally showed up 4 hours later and the guy could not find a large enough clean out so he couldn't do it. No charge so that was okay, but he suggested John Murray Plumbing. I called them and they were there in less than 30 minutes (it was even a Saturday!). It did take some time and there ended up being two guys that worked together, but they had it fixed and only charged us 149. Totally happy customer and now know who I will call in the future!

Backed up plumbing throughout the house on a Saturday isn't the most pleasant way to start a weekend. We called John Murray Plumbing and they had Brian out in less than half an hour. He was a pleasant young man who took the time to explain the nature of what was going on as well as what to do to prevent the problem in the future. He and another crewman found and fixed the problem some 56 feet under our house. I can't say enough about how nice it was to work with people who are competent, fair, prompt, and really care about the issue at hand. I think we've found a plumber for life.

I used John Murray back in 2007 for a complete home copper re-pipe. They did a wonderful job! I can't recommend them any higher. They did the work quickly, efficiently and made sure we were satisfied. Very reasonable price as well. Then this past weekend, we had a problem with the valve in our upstairs shower. The handle came completely off, and we had a horizontal geyser like a fire hose. I had to turn off my water main until we got help. I called John Murray, and sent them a photo of the valve. They were out only an hour later and was able to rebuild the valve instead of replacing it. Extremely pleased we didn't have to replace it as it would have been a drywall nightmare. Craig was wonderful, the price was great and we are very satisfied. John Murray did it again, they are our family plumbers, always!

Our living room ceiling was leaking water onto our hardwood floor and I asked my neighbor for a plumbing referral. She had used John Murray Plumbing in the past and was very happy with their service. I called them right after my husband shut off our water on a Friday afternoon and they responded immediately understanding that we couldn't go the entire weekend without water. The job took a couple days to complete but the Service Department always told us what time to expect our plumber...and he showed up on time, every time. They were reasonably priced, and I would certainly recommend this company without hesitation whatsoever.

We have used them twice, once for a simple gas line shut-off, and once for a more complicated problem with a sewer line. John came out himself to inspect our sewer line and then set up two guys to take care of the issue the next day, even though I told him there was no rush. Excellent service and completely professional.

These guys have been great. They are efficient, fast, and reasonably priced. I would recommend if you don't already have a plumber.
