Our living room ceiling was leaking water onto our hardwood floor and I asked my neighbor for a plumbing referral. She had used John Murray Plumbing in the past and was very happy with their service. I called them right after my husband shut off our water on a Friday afternoon and they responded immediately understanding that we couldn't go the entire weekend without water. The job took a couple days to complete but the Service Department always told us what time to expect our plumber...and he showed up on time, every time. They were reasonably priced, and I would certainly recommend this company without hesitation whatsoever.

We have used them twice, once for a simple gas line shut-off, and once for a more complicated problem with a sewer line. John came out himself to inspect our sewer line and then set up two guys to take care of the issue the next day, even though I told him there was no rush. Excellent service and completely professional.

These guys have been great. They are efficient, fast, and reasonably priced. I would recommend if you don't already have a plumber.

We had a plumbing emergency a couple years ago and called several local plumbers to come out. John Murray was the quickest to respond and the fairest price. The plumber that came out was clean and very nice. She even took the time to explain what the problem was and how she would quickly remedy it to avoid future problems.

Luckily we have not had another plumbing problem since but if we did John Murray would be our first call.

We just found our new plumber....John Murray. We had been using another company for years, but the other company has flaked on our past two jobs. So, I called John Murray for a quote to do a job that our previous plumber didn't show up to do. Anyway, John Murray came out, quoted us 40% lower than old company and had the job done 1.5 hours that old company said would take 4 hours (@$100 per hour). I am very pleased and will be calling them again since I'm sure our 40 year old galvanized pipes won't hold up forever.

Do not use John Murray Plumbing. They will make commitments to you up front and act like everything is fine. When it comes to doing the work they do not stick to their word and leave you hanging. Integrity is not a policy of John Murray.

DO NOT USE THESE GUYS. They will leave you hanging. I had a water heater failure on a Wednesday and they came out as promised on Thursday morning to check it out. I was told my options were to order a new thermal coupler from Whirlpool (warranty part, $30.00 overnight shipping) or, they could come back the next morning and instal a new water heater for about $1,000.00. I opted to order the part and right after they left, scheduled a new appointment with their office for them to return on Saturday to do the install. The part arrived on Friday as promised. On Saturday morning I called to let them know that the part had arrived and was told I was on the list for the day. I waited from 8:00am until 5:00pm. When they called to update me, they apologized for having me wait but, several emergencies had come up and they would not be able to have anyone there until after 5:00 and, I would have to authorize overtime for them to do it. Overtime? I made my appointment for a Saturday install on Thursday. They took several emergency call throughout the day that pushed my appointment back, and they wanted to charge ME overtime for them to come out. Or they said, they could push me to Monday, where I would have to take time off of work to be there. So, the emergencies paid regular rate where, I am expected to pay overtime for making my appointment three days earlier and waiting around the house ALL DAY for them. John Murray plumbing brags about having six trucks working. Not one of them could make it to my house on Saturday. It is now Monday and I am still without hot water. I will not give these guys a damn nickle. I am calling someone, anyone else.

We have used John Murray plumbing many, many times over the years here in Santa Clarita. They have ALWAYS responded quickly, curteously and professionally in every case. His staff is always well trained and they will work around your schedule. The only plumber we ever use. Like your doctor, once you find a good one you never let go!
