Welllll, I selected a 4 hour window of 10-2. My tech was late, arriving shortly after 3, but he did call to say that he needed a 1 hour lunch and I said I understand. When he got here I asked how was lunch and he said "oh I just needed to go see somebody". Then he emphasized how he need to get outta here on time -like 4:30 - because he has 2 tickets to a comedy club and the tickets were non refundable, blah blah blah. But he did make strong promises that we can finance our work if needed and how its super easy & 95% of people get approved. He didn't really know our situation but he vowed we would be approved. There were stories of $45,000 priced work he did and the customer paid cash!! We did not get qualified it was not as easy as he lied about. We did go over our options and he did try to sell other services... We only needed a kitchen faucet replaced but even that was $620 with buying our own things. And he left his paperwork of overpriced services, not paying attention. We bought our own things at home depot and my 13 year old crafty daughter figured it out with our elderly neighbor as her sidekick. Kitchen faucet successfully installed!! #JohnWho??? Never calling again, unless I hit the lottery... they can't help the little people...

Fisnik was on time and very professional. He gave me all the options i needed to make an informed decision on my repair. He recommended other options for future maintenance and protection, but was never pushy. Excellent experience.

I had a plumbing emergency at my home, I was oversold a very expensive repipe which I thought would repipe my whole house. The work turned out to include less than I had believed a repipe. Not two months after the job I had a faucet break that I thought was included in the job only to be presented with another $1800 invoice and told it was not covered. They also failed to reconnect my dishwasher which resulted in mold and rust and having to replace my dishes and dishwasher. They offered me $100 toward replacement of my dishes and said the rusted dishwasher was not their fault. They also did an expensive change order at the end of the project which my financing did not have budget for resulting in exchanging that for sheetrock. I had to pay additional fees to others to fix the faucet and fix all my sheetrock. Im sure I could have done all this for 1/3rd of the cost with much less stress.

My furnace went out about 90 days ago. I was charged $5700 for what I thought was only going to be a furnace for $4700, I was then told I had to get a new return since I was getting a new furnace. I've had to have them come back out 3 times. The first 2 times was due to incorrect wiring done when the furnace was installed. Today (or technically yesterday Saturday 3/25/17), my AC stopped cooling. The Tech didn't show up till after 5:15 p.m. Tech first said Unit was burnt up by storm night before,I told him No it wasn't it had been working fine till the afternoon. His next thing was another part wasn't working. Finally he said no freon, & he was checking it for a leak, & said leak in the coil. He then tried to convince me to buy a new Unit, which I kept trying to tell him I couldn't afford after the $5700 furnace. He said due to age of Unit (which is old) it wasn't worth fixing, & he wasn't doing it. I wanted him to clarify that to be sure I'd heard him correctly,so I asked him "your refusing to fix it, & he said Yes he was". I told him "Bye", and had him leave. Called another company (who fixed it). But due to the lateness of the hour, it cost me $89 trip fee. So going by the diagnosis of the John Moore Tech being a leak in the coil, they put a stop leak in the coil, & that cost me $229. But the leak in the coil was an incorrect diagnosis, the copper had a small leak, & they welded it. The total for today was $1000, but the John Moore Tech cost me the trip fee of $89, & the incorrect diagnosis cost me $229 for the stop leak, so the John Moore Tech cost me an unnecessary total of $318. I will NEVER USE JOHN MOORE AGAIN, & I WOULD STRONGLY ENCOURAGE ANYONE WHO DOES TO BE VERY CAREFUL.

Service Tech was very friendly and seemed knowledgeable but did attempt the up sell as I would bet that he is encourage to do by his employer. Up selling, I found after speaking w/ people who have previously worked for other service repair companies, is quite common.
The price charged for parts (capacitor & compressor saver kit - $700) was way too high as I learned after I contacted other service providers. After replacing the above mentioned parts my A/C unit began to cool again but I was told that I needed to replace the 10 year old compressor for an additional $9500. I will do that if/when the unit dies. BUT IT WILL NOT BE BY JOHN MOORE SERVICE.
Others beware.
