Do not ever use this company. I was told to be available from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on a Friday evening for a plumber to come to my home to address an emergency issue. The plumber lied and said that he attempted to contact me but I did not answer my phone. He then cancelled our appointment. I was waiting for a call for nearly four hours before I inquired. He never called me. After reporting this to John Moore I was told that the earliest someone could come to my home to address the issue would be the following Monday, 3 days later! Again, do not waste your time with this company.

While courteous and professional, they quoted me $3,000 for a small leak by my water meter that costs me $50 in parts to fix. Their prices are border line robbery.

$1000 to fix a part under warranty that takes an hour? $1000 for labor? Cmon John Moore. That's not very ethical.

Do Not Use John Moore Plumbing. They are rip off artists. Perform unnecessary services. Over charge. Don't honor their commitments. My home plumbing was backed up and they installed a clean out when one was on the property. Charged me $3,000 when it should have been a $ 100 auger job. Con artists.

I called for Plumbing Service on the 25th of Nov for a kitchen drain, that was not draining. They had no one until the 27th, and late afternoon at that. The young Rep/salesman arrived began asking questions, i e how long have you lived here, how old is the house? Then explained that houses built that long ago used the incorrect or substandard materials, compared to today. Finally he got out the auger and camera and put it in my easily accessible kitchen trap. at 26 ft he stopped yes that is the clog. He did not make any attempts to fix it, but I have two estimates one for $7,000.00 and one for 8,000.00 to reroute the piping so this will not happen again. I declined and paid him. Then called ARS Services to open the drain they came out Monday (two men) Afternoon, swiftly went to work clearing the stoppage. Thanks to ARS my drain drains and I have a 90 days guarantee.

No shows for two appointments, One was set for 28th November 2016 from 4pm to 8pm, they called and cx at the last minute.

Second time was on 4th December 2016, set appointment from 10am to 2pm, no call, no show.

I really dont know if this is a real company, if so very unreliable, and poor customer services.

Contact and scheduling: flawless
Service and repair: flawless

The technician Michael Shackelford was fantastic. He called prior to arrival and was timely. Dressed clean and was very proactive in testing and inspection of the components of concern. He quickly assessed and completed the tasks as needed in a professional manner. Solid skill set and excellent demeanor.

I would recommend him to anyone that wants a competent electrician; contact John Moore and request Michael.

Where do they get their diagnostic techs from. These people are horrible. Initially set up of a window from 12-4 tech call 10 mins after 4. Saying he was 35-40 mins from my house. I said no thank you, he replied with "what," then, I said, "I'm not interested." And we hung up. One hour later customer service called giving an excuse of why they couldn't make it on time they typical
get caught up servicing... I let them know I'm aware of the window tatic you they give.. to earn business. Since it's free after all. but made them aware that I have been inconvenienced for 4 hrs. I rather pay somebody for a diagnosis.

A guy comes out for a second chance, walked my house with his boots on, was not friendly, he had gold teeth, a car salesman attitude ( know it all, cool acting) and had bad grammar... used made up words like "tooken."

Estimated total to be $2200 to redo plumbing and promise to never have problem again but only warranty for 3 years. Did not give me any other options had to ask for other options. Other option: to unclog plumbing $600-700 was not warrantied and was promised to get the same issue again. Told him I would talk to my husband, he questioned me why; was asked how was my credit after I was shocked about the highway robbery. Tech said, "the reason of my problem is because my house was thrown together and the plumbers were just trying to get the job done." I said my house was built 8 years ago and it took the average time to build. And also added I know it still looks new but his assumption was false.

He asked if I wanted him to check out other things, absolutely not. .Seemed like he was in a rush, but stayed in front of my home for 30 minutes before leaving. Nasty nasty.

If John Moore thought I would give any business to them after this, Shame on them.

Called John Moore after our A/C stopped blowing cold air. Got an appointment the same day. I somehow missed the tech's call when he called to say he was on his way. Right after, the office called to double check to see if I was home - which I appreciated because it prevented any potential delays with my appointment time. Tech was friendly and had no problems with me watching while he worked. Turned out to be a burnout that had melted a single wire. He tested the other components, which thankfully didn't have any damage. My system is over 12 years old, and while he did mention that it is past the typical lifespan for this unit, he said that it checked out fine. This was my first time calling John Moore, and I appreciate them treating this as a simple fix and not using it as an opportunity to sell me a unit or parts that I don't need.

John Moore is definitely the more expensive option, however, I am more than confident that I chose the right company for the services needed i.e. replaced water heater, repaired shower head leak, replaced toilet as well as repaired electrical issues. I did consult with a handful of other companies for the same services and, although they were priced right, they did not provide the same respect, professionalism and/or customer service that I received from John Moore.

From John Moore's field consultants to the field technicians as well as their finance team, I received exceptional customer service with continuous communication regarding expected arrivals including any possible delays, the name(s) of the technician, etc.

If you're looking to have the job done right the first time, call John Moore :)
