I would not refer John Moore to anyone. Charged my father $11,000 to change gas pipes. Finished the "job" on 10/10/22, went to my 75 year old father's house yesterday 6 days after job was "complete" and the trenches they dug are still opened not covered yet. Rusty pipes laying everywhere. Called today, oh we will get right on it. My father had to lie down plywood to walk to his staircase!! Poor, poor service.

Seeing John Moore commercials makes us sick. "Call John, get more." Should be, "Call John, PAY more!" So yes, we were swindled 2 years ago paying $12,000 for a new AC unit. I never wanted to work with this company again but when I was out of town, the JOHN MOORE AC UNIT stopped working. My husband thought there could be an issue with the new unit so he called John Moore to check the it since THEY installed it. Turned out, the drain was clogged. Before I could tell him we have the stuff to unclog it, my lovely husband gave them the go ahead... for $450! $450 to unclog an AC drain. He said the tech badgered (bullied him) him into letting him fix it. I personally would have told the guy to hit the bricks but again, I wasn't home. $450 is ridiculous.
(I contacted the AC company who replaced our 2nd AC unit for $5,000 and asked them how much they'd charge to unclog the drain... $75.)
STAY FAR FAR FAR away from John Moore. The only reason we called them again was because of the chance something was wrong with the AC unit THEY installed. F*cking CROOKS!
John Moore makes me sick.

This company did a good job installing our 30 gal hot water heater. The problem is that they charged us $4000.00
$3000.00 for a $500.00 hot water heater and
$999.00 for installation
We are seniors, they took advantage of us
We asked them to charge us a reasonable price for a 30 gal hot water heater, and they said they can charge as much because they are an elite company.
I believe you become an elite company because you earned it by having a fair price and being honorable. YOU RIPPED US OFF! I WOULD NOT RECCOMEND JOHN MOORE PLUMBING EVER!

My 90 year old father called John Moore about a plumbing stoppage and they said they needed to replace 80 feet of sewer pipe for over $16,000 because it was blocked with tree roots. He paid them half to start and that afternoon their workers removed the dirt around the sewer pipe and would return in the morning to finish the job. The next morning I shut down their job and stopped payment on the check. We agreed to pay for the original visit and the camera put in the pipe. When they sent my father a bill he thought it was junk mail, trashed it and was reported to a credit agency for payment. I contacted the agency and asked for the information and a bill to settle this matter. Rather than a one page bill they sent me a fourteen page description of work and a list of who was to be paid and how much each person involved was to receive. The salesman who originally "bid" the job was to receive over $4000. for his time. There was no tree roots or collapsed sewer pipe, it was a simple clog easily cleared. A few months later my father had a local plumbing company replace the sewer pipe for about $2.300.

An update to my recent review- my daughter told me the new toilet was still rocking. Upon further inspection, I found that it was not the tank, but the toilet base that was rocking- they did a poor job attaching the new toilet to the floor. So I am having to have them come out again. This time i have asked that they also replace the cheap plas lid that came with the $770 toilet because it will definitely crack at some point.

Bryant, the plumber from John Moore Plumbing Service came on schedule and completed the job I requested in a timely manner. He was professional and friendly. I am very pleased and recommended both Bryant and John Moore Plumbing to everyone. They aren't cheap, but they're good!

I am very unhappy with John Moore Plumbing.
I had to have a 100' section of my sewer pipe replaced to the city line. It involved jackhammering through my pea-gravel patio (about 40 ft) and additional trench line through the yard (about 20 ft). It was a very expensive job, and I agreed to price.
The job was completed in mid-May 2022.
PROBLEM 1:
The patio was poorly repaired. (See attached pictures). I understand that concrete related items are difficult to repair/match, but the job looked like a kid did the work.
In May, I asked that the job be done right, and the concrete guy did come out and look at it, and agreed to repair it. However, he was no show to several scheduled start dates. It is now Sept, and the job is still not repaired. In fact, the repair job is getting in worse condition.
PROBLEM 2:
The sewer pipe has now begun to to have issues again. I asked for them to diagnose the issue. I was told that plant roots have now grown in the 10 ft section of pipe between the house and the start point of the last repair. The tech is absolutely positive the roots were not there four months ago. I find it amazing that roots can grow so rapidly in the middle of a 1,000 sq ft section of concrete. Their suggestion is that I pay another large charge to bust through the other part of my patio.
So,
1. The repair job they did to my patio was terrible.
2. The service to repair the patio is terrible.
3. The plumbing (sewer pipe) problem still remains, and I am expected to pay more to fix the same problem they were supposed to fix in May.

This company incorrectly installed a faulty AC unit that caused black mold all over my bathroom closet. The unit leaks water that is flowing downstairs, which was supposed to be fixed weeks ago. My mother that uses that same bathroom could suffer greatly since she has no immune system. They never call back or send help. I absolutely would've never used them had I known of their terrible service. Whenever I call, they hang up, leave me on hold, and never return calls. I will need to get my money back or take legal action.

These people take advantage of women. DO NOT USE THEM. Charged $600 to replace an under sink disposal. Not an emergency, not a weekend, not a holiday. Did not tell customer upfront what charge would be. Simple remove and replace. Cost of Insinkarator Disposal is $150-$250, with maybe 30-45 minutes labor. This company is ripping people off.

My water pressure went very low and needed some fresh water pipes replaced and probably my water heater fixed but the lady said since I own a septic well they couldn't help me.She said she asked her supervisor and I don't believe her,JOHN MOORE KNOWS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN FRESH WATER AND A SEPTIC TANK.Or else they wouldn't be in buisness. She would not let me talk to anyone else
