Old house but new to us. First week in and our pilot light wouldn't stay lit and our son overflowed the bathtub due to the stopper not being sealed. Called Heyrich both times and Scotty came within the hour. He was super nice to my kids who were interested in everything he was doing and he explained lots of things we needed to know about the plumbing of our home. Needless to say we needed a new water heater a few days after they provided a fix. When I called again, the person who answered heard that I had kids in the background and made sure I got a water heater installed that day. I highly recommend them as I had a ton of questions and was never up sold on anything. The bonus is that when I got the bill I was still able to smile as it was exactly as discussed.

My family has used the plumbing services of this local business for several years. They have always done a good job and the prices seem fair. I haven't shopped around much for plumbers, but I feel I don't need to given the service I have received over the years. I would highly recommend John Heyrich, especially if you are local to Montclair.

A neighbor gave my fiance and I a glowing recommendation for Heyrich Plumbing & Heating when we moved to Montclair. Since then they have handled every single plumbing and heating issue we'd had with our home, and both of our rental properties. My fiance and I have since moved away from Montclair for his job, but we still own our 2 multi -family rental homes there and Heyrich is the ONLY plumbing company we use. They are always timely, professional, and most importantly they do amazing work that withstands the test of time... and if there is EVER an issue, they'll come and fix it. I cannot recommend them enough!

Quality of work and time to complete: Great.
Attitude/Customer Treatment & Cost: Don't expect a company who values their customer.

They did a good job of completing the work in a timely manner. However, the person on the phone was extremely rude. You are just another customer and they do not give a damn about your time or respect. They are also definitely at the top of the cost spectrum. I don't mind paying for quality but not when it's way over the normal premium.

This was the first time that I called Heyrich Plumbing and Heating. Got reasonable price for the boiler return piping deteriorating and a valve replaced on one of the specialty radiators I have. I was there while they worked. They were upbeat and did a really great job. They tightened my water level sight and put in cleaning solution in my water boiler for free because it was needed. I would definitely use them again.
