John actually answers the phone when you call and sent out Shawn (sorry if I spelled that wrong) with in a reasonable time frame. His technician was professional neat and took care of my clogged drain immediately and at a reasonable price. I have called him back to do some more work. The best in Novato.

Not only John was a rip-off but he was extremely unprofessional. The most horrible experience I've ever encountered. After trying to work with John's for two months and much aggravations, I finally gave up and look for another plumber. I found Reggie's Reliable Plumbing Service. Reggie was ethical, professional, and charged me half the price.

They came in after another Novato Plumber snaked my bathtub/shower drains twice and said he couldn' do anything more. John's guys came in and tried the snake to no avail so they crawled uder the house and replaced a 4 way valve.

They were prompt, courteous, cleaned up nicely and the best part was they were under the quote John gave me! And the office staff are great too. They even take major credit cards!

On a Saturday night a few years ago I discovered my toilet was backing up and over flowing into my hallway. At that time I did not have a plumber so I used a service on line to see who would respond to help me with my situation. Well luck was with me and John' Plumbing responded. I explained my situation and they gave me two options; either I could stop the overflow and wait until Monday when the cost would be much less, or they would come out immediately to fix the problem. I followed their advise and waited until Monday morning. First thing Monday morning they came at the time they said they would come, worked quickly, professionally, cleaned up the area completely and left me with a very reasonable bill. That was the beginning of John's Plumbing being my ""go to plumber"". Since then I have had my sewer line, my water heater and kitchen faucet replaced. And most recently I had my corroding galvanized pipes replaced. I trust John's Plumbing with all my plumbing needs because I know they will be done right the first time, on time and at an affordable price.

I've had John come to my house on several occasions, two times where we needed his services immediately and he provided excellent service on each occasion. He even showed up to my house when we were away and our 19 and 20 yr old sons were home without hot water. John showed up and took care of everything and made us feel so relieved. He's a gem and we feel fortunate to be able to depend on him. His prices are quite reasonable as well!!

Three times John's Plumbing has come to the rescue like a Plumber in Shining Armor! Once a clogged pipe, then a slow drain and finally a a broken garbage disposal. And each time they showed up immediately, did the job and cleaned up as if they were never there. Friendly and competent, you want these guys in your home!

Do not go with the big chains when you can have local service and neighborly help.

Scheduling the job was easy, they showed up early each time and did better work than expected. And the price was very fair!! I'd give them six stars if I could.

We used John's Plumbing & Sewer Service to replace all of the intake pipes in our house. We got estimates from several plumbers and found that his estimate was one of the lowest; other plumbers gave estimate 2.5 times as much for the same job.

We ended up choosing John's Plumbing and Sewer service and they were excellent. John is a real character but highly professional and experienced. His two workers busted their butts for two days and got it done - their work ethic was impressive and they both were experienced plumbers. They got a job that normally should have taken 3 days in 2 days. The only place for improvement was that they could have been more attentive to the the messes they made, but that happens with guys who were focused on their main work. Job done, new pipes right up to the components and the water is flowing well. Definitely recommend John's Plumbing and Sewer Service and will use them again for our plumbing needs.

John came out at short notice on a Saturday - did a simple but important gas line change for me - he was polite, fast, efficient and very knowledgeable and the price was very reasonable too. He is now my Go To guy for all plumbing work - I can't recommend him highly enough.
