The outside faucet used for garden hoses was leaking. I figured I could replace the faucet myself. I went to Ace hardware and picked up the part. I tried to get off the old one but it was difficult and I was worried about twisting and busting the pipe. I called Joe. The part I had bought was the wrong size, so we just swapped parts and he fixed it in a few minutes. Whew! He's a nice guy, a long time Petaluma resident, and knows what he's doing.

You know when that little voice in your head says ""don't do it?"" You should listen to it, or at least I should've last night. It was almost midnight and I decided to throw just a few cut up veggies down the garbage disposal. Well big mistake, I really should've entrusted that voice because I turned on the garbage disposal & then BAM, both sides of the sink started filling up with water.

I made some inquiries today with friends on Facebook for recommendations then I remembered on one FB group page where people had been asking for referrals for plumbers throughout the year so I did a search on that page for plumbers & 9 out of 10 recommended Joe's Plumbing. I gave them a call & left a message, Andrea called me back & we discussed my problem (I thought it might need to be snaked as in the past as these old track homes have issues.). Andrea said Eric would arrive between 11am & 1pm, then asked if I'd be home. I said no but I worked 5 minutes away so she said I would get a call when he's on his way. I kid you not, about 25 to 30 minutes later I received a call that Eric was on his way & this was at 9:22am. Talk about early! I met Eric at my house, discussed everything, then he went to work. He discovered that I didn't need my whole house snaked (last time was about 10 years ago), that basically everything was centered in the kitchen sink pipes. He carefully worked his magic & everything was working again. We discuss the cost, which he told me an amount & then said not to worry about it they will send a bill to my address. Talk about that old hometown feeling even when they don't know you!

I have other jobs that I'll be contacting them about but for now I highly recommend Joe's Plumbing!!

If you need a plumber call Joe's Plumbing. Joe and Joey (father and son) and now the daughter is doing scheduling are the best period. I am a licensed contractor and work with different plumbers all over the bay area. If I could I would have Joe's Plumbing on every job. Make a call, Joe comes out and gives you a quote, his daughter will call you with the schedule, Then they show up on time and get it done right. Love this family run business.

You can spend more with the other guys, but if all you want is reasonable, professional high quality work from a father-son plumbing service, you found it. They did not find an excuse to avoid doing the job nor did they charge an outrageous price like others. Give them a call, you will be glad.
