Luis is a meticulous hard working person and I am so glad to have found him. He took a very good care of my clogged sink. He was quick with the appointment, on time and did a careful job. He made sure he wore shoe covers when he was inside and was masked the whole time. I would definitely hire him again.

I contacted J&L Plumbing because my water pipe makes pounding sounds every time when I turn on water in the second floor bathroom. Luis responded to me immediately of what the potential issues may be and he was able to came for an in person inspection the same day. After he assessed the issue he said the water pipe sound could be caused by high water pressure or the water pipe wasn't strap properly. He offered to measure my water pressure for no costs which was very nice of him. It turns out my water pressure falls within the normal range which means the other cause is the water pipe wasn't strap properly. Luis provided me with a quote while he was on site and didn't pressure me to proceed with the work at all. Also, while Luis was on site, he inspected my water heater and recommended some repairs for future which was very nice of him. I will definitely keep J&L on my contact list for piping or water heater issues in the future!

Had to keep pushing back the appointment time (was wondering why he didn't show up) and didn't accept PayPal, Venmo, of zelle. Otherwise, would be 5 stars.

Luis and his co-worker came out around 9:30pm during the Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend. The estimate he gave over the phone was for coming on Monday or Tuesday, but he called and said they could make it out on Sunday night. They both were very professional, and worked on clearing out a clog that was in the line leading to the main sewer. Luis took time to explain each step of the process. They were able to complete the work around midnight. The estimate quoted was the amount they charged. Would highly recommend their services.

We had a plumbing emergency. The toilet stopped flushing. Luis replied right away with a quote. We spoke on the phone and he went over the 3 possible outcomes, possible escalation and what the cost would be for each scenario. He spent hours trying to find the plug in the line keeping us informed and showing the camera video along the way. Sadly it was the worst case. We have roots in our sewage line.

On a side note, I called 5 plumbers from Yelp. 2 wouldn't give me any price, or discuss any rate sight unseen. 1 told me $130, until I told him we lived in Newport, then he said, Oh, sorry the price for Newport is $150"". Seriously. The 4th gave an hourly rate.

My tub was clogged and I called Luis to see if he can come and fix the problem and sure enough he came that same day! He was very honest and told me it was a simple fix that all he had to do was run the snake through my drain, he also gave me a very reasonable price :) I honestly thought my main sewer was clogged and that would have costed me a lot more but I'm glad Luis was honest and was able to take care of the problem! I was satisfy with his work and pricing I decided to call him the following week to install a tankless water heater. Great job Luis!
