Our kitchen drain suddenly became very slow and my 25-foot snake wasn't cutting it, so I turned to yelp and requested quotes from a few highly rated local companies. I checked their state licenses and read reviews of the top 3 who replied. We went with Luis and J&L because they said they were vaccinated, wore masks, and could arrive in 2-hours. We take the coronavirus seriously, know OC is in another wave, and value companies who are data driven and responsive. Luis was awesome! They were clean, fast, and thorough. They snaked our whole drain and even used a camera to show us the entire run of our drain all the way to the sewer main in the middle of the street. Their price was great too. I HIGHLY recommend Luis and J&L for drain snaking.

Needed a plumber as our sink stopped draining.... Did a late night target run for a plunger and nope; did nothing... next morning decided to send out a request for quotes from Yelp and J&L responded the quickest with actual estimate of how much the job would cost PLUS was able to come out that day.... They came and the job was worse then we had hoped but still stayed within the quoted price and they were super helpful, friendly and efficient. Seriously SO GRATEFUL! And extremely fair on their rates!

I needed a simple toilet install (replacement), so I went on Yelp, answered all of the questions about my toilet install and requested a quote. I let Yelp send my request out to many plumbers. In my 10 replies, only J & L Plumbing Services responded with a timely reply and an actual quote (I got one reply much later with a quote that was over $200 more!). J & L gave me a very reasonable quote, and I didn't want to waste my time waiting for others to ""come out for a quote."" Cannot thank these guys enough for all of the work that they did. Before buying our first home, we knew that we were going to need some serious repairs to the entire drainage system. We got a couple of other quotes, but Luis was offering the best service for the best price.

After each day, Luis would update me on what they got done, what the next steps are, and when he would be there next, which I very much appreciated. When they ran into speed bumps, they always found a way around it. It took a few more days than originally anticipated, but the entire drainage was fixed.
Additionally, they took care of a few more little issues that we had in the home (toilet not flushing properly, leaking sprinkler) without any fuss.

I will definitely be hiring this company again if we have any future issues.

They came out and did a great job clearing some drains, including our main sewer line. They even did a camera inspection on the condition of our main line. Even though our main line was in need of an overhaul, they didn't oversell it. So we agreed to a regular preventative maintenance schedule where they will just check up on periodically. Looking forward to continuing with their services in the future.
