This contractor was assigned by our AHS home warranty company. Very high estimates, unnecessary extra charges and rude office lady. They want to sell me heater fittings for 10 times the price in Home Depot and just screw fitting without needing any fancy installs. They want to replace everything and charge me even if current fitting is just 1 year old. They get pre-negotiated rate from AHS and they think AHS customers have no other options to choose contractor so ask additional out of pocket not AHS covered costs. Got the job done in half the price using other contractor. Stay away if possible.

Our toilet became loose and slid to the side causing the caulking to be broken. Plumber came and fixed by tightening the bolts. Said he would redo the caulk and be done

He did a really bad caulking job. Sloppy and incomplete.

Be careful and inspect work before paying.

Very poor people skills on the other end of the phone. American Home Shield sent them out for a water heater replacement. Once done, they had numerous ""non covered"" costs. When I asked for a copy of their estimate, they literally sent me a blank estimate with $575 estimated additional costs, not listing what they are. After begging, they reluctantly sent me an estimate with 5 line items that weren't covered: a new ball valve, 3' of copper pipe, HOOKING THE WATER HEATER UP TO THE ELECTIRCAL SERVICE!!!!!, a drain pan which I don't need because it is in the garage, and disposal of the old unit. I told them I am a contractor and that I can dispose of the unit myself. They said they can't do that. I have been a contractor for 40 years and I can see an ""upsell"" from the get go. I tried to reason with whomever the girl was on the phone, but she just wanted to shove this money down my throat. Terrible experience.

Paul was amazing! Called for a service through our home warranty and was assigned J&L Plumbing. Promptly received a text to schedule and did it all through text. That was awesome as I could do it while in work calls. Today Paul came. Super professional and polite. Looked at all the areas that needed service and got to work. He was so neat and tidy, cleaned up after himself as if he had never been there. He explained all that was going on, how he fixed it and how to avoid the problem moving forward. He took his time and was super thorough. I was amazed as I had never received service like this before. Moving forward I will ask the home warranty for J&L Plumbing and when they call to schedule I will make sure to ask for Paul. Thanks Paul!!

Our water heater started flooding and damaging our home. Our home warranty, Old Republic, connected us with J&L. They were quick to get out and have been communicating well since. Ryan was absolutely great at the inspection of the problem and submitted to the home warranty quick to help get the process started for the new water heater install and even followed up after he left our house. Then they contacted Ecodry to give us a consult for the damage. Great communication thus far w Ryan (tech) and Alex (reception). Thank you.

Communication with dispatch and techs is minimal, plumber seemed to want to end his day. During our second install visit the tech attempted to reschedule 3 times because of the water not being off, or the washer and dryer not being moved, and finally a shelf that he can not work with in the area. It has all been cleared out during appointment all his hoops where met but there was yet another attempt to have to come back. These people have no motivation and seem to enjoy the run around to come out again. Went through old republic warranty company. Beware of you are assigned this plumber or be ready for long waits and lack of communication.

Terrible service, warranty company assigned them to checkout a slab leak at my home. Had three different technicians come out with minimal communication about what was going between them. After a whole month finally got a quote to take care of slab leak and do rerouting of my hot water, however for some reason they wanted more money to finish the job as they stated ""Was an additional job"" with a water line they didn't expect , the main job I was quoted for to reroute hot was never finished and I had to take it upon myself to get updates and call them and the warranty company.

Will not be doing business with them and you should not either !
