Hey Jim returned my call within 30 minutes! None of the other 4 places even returned my call. I guess they have all the business they need.

Then, on a roll, Jim actually showed up on time. And for good measure, he fixed my oven.

It was a quirky repair to be sure. He approached it professionally and in good humor.

And yes, he does arrive on a motorcycle.

Jim's the best. He has fixed a bathroom faucet, refrigerator door and now fixed up the internet wiring so that it works again. I didn't have internet connection after installing a new comcast modem that was faulty. Comcast told me they couldn't come for a week and I work from home on my computer. Jim came the same morning I called him, spent a long time on a complicated situation and came up with the perfect solution that saved me tons of money. His price was really fair too. I'll definitely be calling him in the future.

Jim was great. He came by on a Sunday evening to fix our freezer. He is friendly, carries spare parts (no need to wait for an order), and explained what was wrong. I will use hm again for appliances or other work.

I found Jim's repair service on the web, when looking for a repair shop to
fix a lamp that I thought could not be repaired. (Or maybe I should just buy a new one for the cost to fix it) I just dropped it off and he called a few days after (he had to order parts from Europe). I thought the cost would be very expensive, because he had to order the parts. But, no.... great price, great service, and great work!

I never write reviews on yelp, but this time, I thought I should because it is not every day you find someone so good at their job. I never met him, but he was very polite on the phone. I just dropped it off, where he asked me to and then picked it up. Next time my dishwasher stops working, I will call him to fix it.

I have been using Jim for many years. I own rental property and used to vie for replacing instead of repairing. Once I met Jim that changed. I first get his analysis and always the appliance is fixed with a priced more than fair. His feedback and advice well received..Excellent!

Jim is awesome. He's just a handyman and not a proper repair service. He does come FULLY prepared on a motorcycle, adorned with anything he might need to help you along your way. It probably keeps costs way down on gasoline. My landlord called him to fix the ultra-marathoner toilet (it was quite the runner), and a dishwasher that functioned as a dry, arid desert and nothing more. He arrives - he just gerry-rigged the toilet, and did a patchwork fix. It never stopped running, or flushed properly, but I guess it was good enough. The dishwasher, which unexpectedly had two issues, took a bit longer. I guess the 5 stars was for his chattiness.... he likes to talk. I thought both appliances were done for, but he assured me you can fix everything, and do it well. He was even really honest about the way people price in the business, and take advantage of people. He's transparent, open, honest, smart, and a really great guy. So, yeah... I'm happy. Just wished my landlord would actually fix this stuff, instead of hire a handyman. Thanks!

Jim just left our house to fix our dishwasher that hasn't been working well in years. He correctly diagnosed the problem and we were very happy with his service. We've used him for years and he's fixed our fridge, dryer, and other appliances. He arrives on his motorcycle and has most of what he needs with him to fix most problems. Otherwise, he'll order or pick up the part you need. Definitely give him a try!

Jim arrived within 45 minutes of my call to accurately and efficiently diagnose a problem with my refrigerator; other local companies quoted prices 30% higher for a service call AND were unable to schedule a visit for more than 2 weeks!
He is fair, competent and knowledgeable and offered different practical solutions which allowed me to choose the best one for my budget.
I will definitely call him again should the need arise for home repairs.

You cannot do better than Jim. He looks at the big picture but often finds a small solution. And if he can't fix the problem his advice on whether to repair or replace is spot on. A very pleasant man.
