Jim came by today and fixed a complex problem in my GE dishwasher. Broken glass in the drain. He analyzed the problem thoroughly and solved the problem. Now I don't have to buy a new one. Really helpful and super knowledgeable. Thanks Jim!!

Problem: electric stove top burners stopped working - 220 current was good, no info in User's Manual. What could we do? We called Jim.

Jim was quick to respond, arrived as scheduled, had researched the problem based on my telephone description, figured it out in less than 10 minutes and was on the road to his next appointment shortly thereafter.

A very pleasant, interesting and knowledgeable fellow. I've already recommended him to multiple friends. For you Breaking Bad fans, don't call Saul, call Jim instead.

I've had two occasions that required Jim's help and he's come through for me both times with flying colors! He gets back to you right away and even on Christmas Eve! My oven decided to not work on the morning of Christmas Eve (Thursday) and most businesses I called were closed or told me it would be the following week before I could get an appointment. Jim was booked that day but said he could come first thing Saturday morning for me. As I plotted my backup plan and purchased a counter-top oven to make do with for the holiday and began putting that to use, Jim called me and said his appointments didn't take as much time as he thought that day and he could come that day if that worked for me. He practically saved Christmas, in a way! He came with the part I needed (luckily it's one that is often required, so he keeps them on hand) and was in and out in about an hour! The first time I used him required us to have him let himself in to check out our refrigerator that wasn't cooling and he was upfront and honest with us and told us we should contact the manufacturer if the unit was under warranty cause the issue looked pretty major. Again, lucky for us, it did turn out to be a warranty repair, so we saved a lot on that repair. Jim is great and now my go-to guy for this sort of thing. Hopefully I won't need to rely on him too often, but he's a great guy to have in my contact list for sure!

Fantastic service. Called Jim to look at our failed washing machine. Arrived a few hours later - on the same day-on his motorcycle. Diagnosed the problem with a pragmatic eye. Ordered the new part. Came back two days later and installed it in less than 30 minutes. Washing machine works like new and Jim saved us money. Highly recommended.

Hey Jim returned my call within 30 minutes! None of the other 4 places even returned my call. I guess they have all the business they need.

Then, on a roll, Jim actually showed up on time. And for good measure, he fixed my oven.

It was a quirky repair to be sure. He approached it professionally and in good humor.

Jim's the best. He has fixed a bathroom faucet, refrigerator door and now fixed up the internet wiring so that it works again. I didn't have internet connection after installing a new comcast modem that was faulty. Comcast told me they couldn't come for a week and I work from home on my computer. Jim came the same morning I called him, spent a long time on a complicated situation and came up with the perfect solution that saved me tons of money. His price was really fair too. I'll definitely be calling him in the future.

Jim was great. He came by on a Sunday evening to fix our freezer. He is friendly, carries spare parts (no need to wait for an order), and explained what was wrong. I will use hm again for appliances or other work.

I found Jim's repair service on the web, when looking for a repair shop to
fix a lamp that I thought could not be repaired. (Or maybe I should just buy a new one for the cost to fix it) I just dropped it off and he called a few days after (he had to order parts from Europe). I thought the cost would be very expensive, because he had to order the parts. But, no.... great price, great service, and great work!

I never write reviews on yelp, but this time, I thought I should because it is not every day you find someone so good at their job. I never met him, but he was very polite on the phone. I just dropped it off, where he asked me to and then picked it up. Next time my dishwasher stops working, I will call him to fix it.

I have been using Jim for many years. I own rental property and used to vie for replacing instead of repairing. Once I met Jim that changed. I first get his analysis and always the appliance is fixed with a priced more than fair. His feedback and advice well received..Excellent!
