Company Overview

As a family-owned enterprise, Jim Dickerson Company provides services to Charlotte and the surrounding communities. Jim, who hails from Charlotte, learned the plumbing trade from his father-in-law, Chester H. Creed, and gained valuable experience working with him before establishing his own business.

The year 1977 marked the inception of Jim Dickerson Plumbing, created by Jim and his wife Judy. What started as a single truck operation has expanded significantly over the years, and now we boast a sizable fleet of service vehicles ready to assist you.

Due to increasing customer demand, we have expanded our services to include Electrical and Heating and Air divisions. This expansion enables our thousands of clients to enjoy the same dependable and honest service for their Electrical and HVAC needs that they have come to expect from our Plumbing services.

We moved to our present 11,000 square foot location in 2005. The 7,000 square foot warehouse at our location enables us to maintain an inventory of frequently used parts, water heaters, fixtures, and equipment, ensuring we can offer quick service, even during evenings and weekends.

Jim's daughters, Debbie and Angie, joined the company after completing their college education and currently oversee the daily operations of the office, including Customer Service, Sales and Marketing, and Accounting.
