Company Overview

As a family-owned enterprise, Jim Dickerson Company provides services to Charlotte and the surrounding communities. A Charlotte local, Jim acquired his plumbing skills from his father-in-law, Chester H. Creed, and collaborated with him for several years prior to founding his own company.

In 1977, Jim and his wife Judy established Jim Dickerson Plumbing. From humble beginnings as a one-truck operation, we have steadily expanded, and today we have a robust fleet of service vehicles prepared to serve you.

In response to customer requests, we have introduced Electrical and Heating and Air divisions to our offerings. This expansion enables our thousands of clients to enjoy the same dependable and honest service for their Electrical and HVAC needs that they have come to expect from our Plumbing services.

We moved to our present 11,000 square foot location in 2005. The 7,000 square foot warehouse at our location enables us to maintain an inventory of frequently used parts, water heaters, fixtures, and equipment, ensuring we can offer quick service, even during evenings and weekends.

Jim's daughters, Debbie and Angie, joined the company after completing their college education and currently oversee the daily operations of the office, including Customer Service, Sales and Marketing, and Accounting.
