This is an overdue review for Jose. He is awesome! My old gas-powered water heater died on a Sunday night 10 days before I was going on vacation. He called me within 2 hours and made sure that it wasn't an emergency, as a weekend plumbing emergency would've been an extra charge. He then came out at 9 AM Monday morning and determined that the heater was end-of-life and needed replacement. He also advised me to add a bottom water pan to comply with current Alameda city requirements for water heaters.

I could live without running hot water for another day, so we made arrangements to do the replacement the next day with a similar heater model. He quickly switched out the units, did all the necessary modifications, and then did a nice cleanup job. In less than 48 hours, I had a brand new heater good for 10-15 years and hot water again. When the city inspector came over to approve it, he said it looked great. Thanks again, Jose! I will definitely contact Jim Bustos Plumbing for any plumbing service that my house needs.

Once again, Jose comes through! We lost hot water sometime this weekend, and I left a voicemail for him Saturday afternoon. Not worthy of an emergency call out (we used a neighbor's shower) Jose called right back Monday morning and said he could get to us that afternoon. 45 minutes later I was writing him a check for a job well done with hot water flowing! A plumber from Jim Bustos just came to our apartment. There was honking outside. Their truck was blocking our neighbor from leaving. The driver pulled out the truck, then drove right back in. I asked him not to park there and block our driveway. He refused and refused to identify himself. I'll contact our property manager who hired them but I wanted to let you all know on Yelp as well. The driver was the one in orange.

Our water heater starting leaking last night. I called Bustos Plumbing this morning and spoke to Jose. He was at our house within an hour to assess the situation. The water heater had a hole in it and it was old.
We had a new installed water heater by 11:30am. We are thrilled with the service we received. We kept it local and we're happy customers.
