A plumber from Jim Bustos just came to our apartment. There was honking outside. Their truck was blocking our neighbor from leaving. The driver pulled out the truck, then drove right back in. I asked him not to park there and block our driveway. He refused and refused to identify himself. I'll contact our property manager who hired them but I wanted to let you all know on Yelp as well. The driver was the one in orange.

Our water heater starting leaking last night. I called Bustos Plumbing this morning and spoke to Jose. He was at our house within an hour to assess the situation. The water heater had a hole in it and it was old.
We had a new installed water heater by 11:30am. We are thrilled with the service we received. We kept it local and we're happy customers.

Based on what needed, clogged toilet. It is hard to get a recommended plumber on short notice. Some make non emergency appointments (we had another bathroom working) several days in advance. They asked me a few questions to diagnose, fitted me in between other jobs. Snaked the 30 feet of the line, were in and out in less than an hour with a reasonable charge. Told me to not dispose of dental floss in the toilet. We're neat and professional.

old plumbing. These folks really know how to work with old systems in these big
old houses. Their timely response, and dedication to following through and getting the job done right is excellent.

This past week in the crawl space of my rental unit in Alameda I discovered a burst drain pipe with the resulting considerable standing water. I called Jim Bustos Plumbing about 10am of that morning and got a return call within the hour. That afternoon they were under the house surveying the situation and what was needed. First thing next morning they were back and by late morning had repaired the problem. I wouldn't think of calling any other plumbing service. Fortunately I've had only one other plumbing issue at the units and that was a few years ago and Bustos was ""Johnny on the spot"" then also.
