Hired them to install a water softener in Goleta. The plumber showed up late, took hours for a rather straight forward job (the loop, drain and electric were already in place), charged me $355 and to top it off, the piping he installed to the drain is leaking. Jerry's response when I called just now? We can have someone out there on Monday - and today is Friday. Whoever answered the phone could not have cared less. And, just in case you think they're local to Santa Barbara, they are NOT. Located in Santa Maria and the plumber who did this stellar job for me lives over an hour away from here. Terrible service to say the least.

I am reading some of these reviews & I can't believe it. I have used Jerry's for years & have always had great experiences. They came today & William unclogged my dishwasher & it works great !!! The appointment was from 12 to 5 & he was at my home at 12:30. I purchased a waterheater a while back & they installed it the same day so we didn't have to take cold showers. I will ALWAYS use Jerry's !!!

I called to have 2 faucets installed which I had already purchased. The reason I called was because they advertise 25% off service call in Axxess book.. After here they informed me it didn't work on this service call. The bill was 475.00 for just a tad under 2 hours here. That comes to 237.50 an hour! Wow, I'm in the wrong profession. I will never call this company again!!!! I will tell everyone I know of my experience. In all fairness, the plumber did an okay job even though he left a mess

July 2016-March 2017 I contracted this company for my commercial property's AC/heating needs. They seem so show up for service calls in a timely manner, and MAYBE fix the problem. If problem needs more than the one day visit, it will take many months to get the problem solved. It will take weeks for them to tell you that they still need to fix the problem and what the problem actually is, then more weeks to months before they can give you an estimate or bid for the repair, then at least another month or so before they do the job.... sheesh. Mind you, I'm not talking about a $200-$1000 job, I'm talking $10K to $25K. per ACunit replacement.... for that kind of money I expect a bit of expedited service. When I 'hound' them, I get 'stories'.... I call BS. Finally I got a bid, it took them Nov-16 to Mar-17 to just assess problem & get me the $10K bid for AC replacement . Out of desperation I called another AC business... No problem, called on Friday, got the new unit installed on Wednesday at half the cost that Jerry's told me it would cost. Now their bid finally was received, 3 days AFTER my new company installed it after taking a week to assess and replace the unit.. But, on the better note, the plumber is still doing good, but for how long who knows..... I haven't had any thing more than a running or clogged toilet.

I will echo the sentiment about dealing with Home Warranties; their not even worth the small amount you pay. HOWEVER, after dealing with one absolutely horrible plumber they sent out to me, Jerry's (John was the plumber I had) were very professional. It turns out my toilet, which needed a new fill valve, was a really tough model. I learned this from the first plumber who couldn't even handle it. John ordered the part, came out twice with an extra guy because the job required it, fixed it today, and left the place neat and showed me the work he had done. He was very friendly as well.

This is the worst company in Santa Barbara County. The home warranty companies tend to use them because they are cheap and there is a reason for that. They fail to schedule timely and their techs are barely competent. You'll be lucky if they don't screw up your appliance. I just had a guy call me a 1:09PM telling me he was at my gate, but he obviously went to the wrong house. When I called to complain they told me he had done the service on my air conditioner already, and would be back in three days to check. He hadn't done it on my house because I was here the whole time.

Lets start with the 24 hours emergency service, this means leave your number and we will call you back and not we can come out and help you. 24 hour service should read in your dreams.
Jose what a guy he is, we cannot help you on a week day but a weekend day works and we will charge you time and a half. And here's the kicker, we own more than one property and we honestly thought after seeing there advert they were the company for us. Maybe I should have read the reviews first. Jerry Plumbing is going down the toilet!!!!!

I called to get a repairman out to fix my air conditioner and they said they'd have a service technician call me back. The tech said they ran out of refrigerant and would connect with me the next day which he never did. Unreliable company.

My experience can be summed up with these two comments - substantial misrepresentation and hard selling to get additional work.

They were referred to us by our home warranty company. Even though they acknowledged that it was the home warranty company that gave them my name, address and phone number, Jerry's office staff tried to convince me that the visit they made to the residence was not part of that referral and I needed to pay them for a separate service call. When I refused, they told me they no longer wanted to work on the repair.

In addition, when they arrived at the residence they tried to hard sell some carbon monoxide detection item by using scare tactics.

If you are looking for someone you can trust, avoid Jerrys.

This repair was through Old Republic referral. Jerry's plumbing and heating provided me with some of the worse service I have ever received. They had to come out a total of four times to fix
A simple leaking toilet,didn't show on one occasion during the time frame given and three times didn't even bother to stick around to make
sure the problem was corrected. The last tech even said the previous jobs were done wrong. Find another plumber to do it right the first time.
