Back in 1994, Jerry launched his business, Jerry's Handy Service, Inc as a part-time endeavor during his time with the TECO company. Over the years, he developed a greater love for restoration projects. In 2001, the company implemented salary reductions for several staff members, and Jerry was among them. In that pivotal moment, he chose to fully commit to his business as his main career. Thus, Jerry borrowed his retirement fund and emerged as a full-time entrepreneur dedicated to improving properties.

During 2004, Jerry placed a tiny ad in the local newspaper. The advertisement grabbed the interest of the Tampa Hillsborough Action Plan. Their Weatherization Director reached out to him to discuss a partnership to act as a vendor for the organization, which expanded Jerry's client base. During 2009, he was contacted by a company called American Project & Repair to become a partner on various projects. In 2011, a firm named American Homes contacted Jerry. By 2014, he was managing a team of five and continued to expand. At Jerry's Improvements & Restoration, clients are our top priority!
