In 1994, Jerry Goodwin established Jerry's Handy Service, Inc as a part-time endeavor during his time with the TECO company. Over the years, he developed a stronger commitment for restoration projects. Come 2001, TECO announced pay cuts for many long-time employees, and Jerry was affected. In that instant, he chose to pursue his passion as his main career. Thus, Jerry borrowed his 401(k) and became a dedicated business owner focused on enhancing homes.

During 2004, he published a tiny ad in the community publication. That small ad caught the eye of the Tampa Hillsborough Action Plan. Their Weatherization Director called him for a discussion to act as a service provider for their projects, which increased Jerry's client base. During 2009, he was contacted by American Project & Repair to become a partner on various projects. During 2011, the American Homes company got in touch with him. Come 2014, Jerry had a team of five and was still growing. With Jerry's Improvements & Restoration, customer satisfaction is our focus!
