In 1994, Jerry Goodwin established his company, Jerry's Handy Service, Inc as a part-time endeavor while he was still working TECO. Throughout the years, he developed a stronger commitment for home renovations. By 2001, TECO made pay cuts for several staff members, and Jerry was among them. In that instant, he resolved to invest in himself full-time. So, he accessed his retirement fund and became a dedicated business owner specializing in enhancing houses.

By 2004, he published a brief notice in the paper. The advertisement attracted the attention of the Tampa Hillsborough Action Plan. Their Weatherization Director contacted Jerry for a meeting to serve as a service provider for the organization, which broadened his clientele. In 2009, he was contacted by American Project & Repair to serve as a vendor on various projects. During 2011, American Homes got in touch with our company. In 2014, Jerry had 5 staff members and was on the rise. With Jerry's Improvements & Restoration, client needs come first!
