I discovered a huge pipe leak in my garage late in the evening. Jeff-N-Carl's was quick to respond and Steve the technician arrived early in the morning. Steve was friendly and professional. He found that the issue was from a corroded pipe for my fire sprinklers, which required a specialized licensed plumber/tech. Although we weren't able to use their service, I definitely would recommend Jeff-N-Carl's for other plumbing needs.

Our 35-year-old furnace went out, and we called Jeff-N-Carl's. The technician who arrived, Tim, was actually younger than the furnace itself, but he was familiar with it and comfortable diagnosing the problem, having worked outside of California on all kinds of systems. He walked me through each component and its job, and based on his explanations, we decided to replace the furnace instead of trying to repair it. We ended up replacing both the furnace and air conditioner after Tim explained the new technology (and significantly higher prices) likely coming in the summer. There was no upsell pressure or doom-and-gloom description of the problem, just confident knowledge, which made me feel reassured about the work.

Tim is a rare guy who shows up on time and stays late as needed, putting in those small extra efforts such as checking all the appliances twice after turning the natural gas off and on to make sure there were no problems. The install of the furnace and new air conditioner took two days, only because Tim stayed past 5pm both days to get some work done; the type of guys who quit promptly at 3pm would have taken an extra day of mess and disruption (and no heat for family). I don't think the job could have been completed any more quickly or expertly.

If you need heating or cooling work done, do not hesitate about calling Jeff-N-Carl; you'll be in good hands.

We didn't end up needing to use a plumber. We initially requested an estimate to install W/D because Best Buy kept refusing to do it. Tim came to the house to see what was going on and was very respectful, wise, and a good guy all around. If we ever need a plumber, we would definitely ask for Tim.

We have used Jeff n Carl's a few times at a previous address and it went fine so when we bought a new place, they were who we called. I am not sure what changed in the past year but we will never use them again based on this service, attitude and experience.

Carl acted like he didn't want to do the work we scheduled and then charged us more than what the full work would have been. Carl didn't even put a new flange when they took off the old one so there's a hole in the wall ... and they left the old flange on the second pipe. This looks like I asked a friend to do it not a licensed plumber.

Then didn't do the 2nd thing we called them out for at all. What a waste of time and money after we had to arrange an HOA water shut off to do all this work. Lost a loyal customer in the process who used to recommend them.

Now we have to have another plumber come out and redo the whole effort. Very unsatisfied.

Our water heater stopped working a few days before we were expected to host family (seems like these things tend to happen at the worst times). So naturally we wanted the water heater repaired or replaced as soon as possible. We called a few different companies on Monday morning. Of all the companies we called, Jeff N Carl's plumbing provided us with the most reasonable quote and an appointment the very same day.

We had the pleasure of working with Tim. Tim showed up exactly at 3pm (the appointment window was from 3pm-5pm). He thoroughly examined our water heater and made a few suggestions. He made suggestions not just about our water heater, but also about our plumbing in general. Tim is trustworthy, professional and knowledgeable. He thoroughly explained everything. He replaced the water heater the same day and kept us informed as he completed the project. A few things came up as he was replacing the water heater and he ""stuck with it"" until the job was done. He even stayed a little after to suggest plumbing projects we could do to prevent future mishaps. We are incredibly grateful that the project was completed so quickly and that we've got warm water again! Thank you so much for all your help Tim!
