Brian was on time, and fixed my leaky faucet, and installed a new one, all in less than 15 minutes. I was impressed, and very happy.

American Home Shield sent JED to my house for a clogged sewer line. The tech they sent out spent more time standing around talking to himself than he did doing any work. The main line access where he actually needed to go is in our crawl space and he refused to go in because, he ""didn't have any coveralls."" While I understand wanting to keep your work clothes clean, I feel like plumbing is a vocation where a certain amount of getting dirty is to be expected. Maybe Mike Rowe has been steering me wrong though. Instead of crawling in where he needed to go, he ran a 50' snake through a drain in the house, and then announced, ""I've been here for 2 hours, and I can't get the drain clear. You'll have to call someone to jet the line."" Told us that he would call the home warranty company and tell them what needed to be done and instead reported to the company that the work was complete and sent an invoice for $749 for the work he did. I can't recommend them less.

The plumber name Brian whom I've dealt with fixed the issue in no time. I would recommend him.

Christian just left and did a great job.
It was just replacing the garbage disposal, not a biggie.
JED was call via an insurance plan.
It's too bad about the problems people are having with mgmt and the unprofessional plumbers. JED reportedly does about 60 calls a day, so that's a lot of possibilities to mess up.

I wish there is a way I could have left a zero star. Please do not hire Jed Mechanical Contractors for your Plumbing needs.

I have ORHP home protection and they gave my work order to Jed Mechanical.

I had a 15 years old toilet, American Standard, and my toilet tank was leaking from the tank bolt connected to the bowl.

Jed Mechanical sent their plumber name Brian on 03/18/2017. I have never met anyone so rude, especially on a late Saturday morning. Without saying ""Hi or Hello,"" Brian asked my roommate to show the bathroom with the leaky toilet. After looking at the toilet tank for less than a minutes, Brian walks out without saying a word.

Fifteen minutes goes by, so I go outside to look for him. I found him sitting in his truck, so I asked him if he knows what the issue is? He rudely replied, ""Sir, I will be right with you.""
So I go back to my house and he comes back to the house after ten minute with a $75 invoice for me to sign, and says that your home protection insurance company has denied your claim.

I asked him why the claim was denied. He said that he believes that my toilet leak was not a normal wear and tear, and this was an accidental damage to the toilet; so that is what he told the insurance company. Therefore, my repair cannot be coved by my ORHP home protection insurance.

So I asked him to give me an estimate, if I were to hire Jed Mechanical for this repair. Without contacting his Office, off the cuff, he quoted me $700 for the repairs. Now, I knew this guy is not only rude but also a scammer.

I asked him why he was giving me the $75 invoice, when he has not perform any work on the toilet. He replied, this is the fee for him to come out and look at the problem, and he threatened that if I refuse to pay this invoice, ORHP will cancel my home protection insurance.

Now, ORHP home protection insurance has sent me an invoice for the $75 trade call fee, and ORHP is not authorizing my claim for the repair because Brian told ORHP that it was accidental damage.

Please don't hire this Jed Mechanical, and if you already hire them, please make sure that Brian is nowhere near your house.

Please read a review by Perinda L. on 02/10/2016. I wish I read that review before going with this contractor (Jed Mechanical).

Christian is very savvy with his work and knows the job exceptionally well. He is also very polite and takes the time to explain the problem and his plans to mitigate it.

Terrible customer service. Kept me waiting all day (8am - 5pm and beyond) for a repair man who never came.

They never called to update me on status. When I called again shortly before close, they assured me the guy would call and come by that evening, but he never did. I had to call the next day to get the process started again.

I asked for compensation, which they flatly denied. Did not seem to care about my dissatisfaction.

I usually do not write comments but I have used this company 2 times now and both were highly unsatisfactory. The first my hot water heater busted, the guys who came to fix it spent more time outside smoking and standing around talking than working. While working they made the leak worse before finally fixing it then attempted to install the new hot water heater in the giant puddle they had caused. Oh btw, that puddle was up against the common wall in my townhouse, potentially doing damage to the neighbors as well. They were not going to clean it up or inform me that there was water everywhere. To this day i still have not seen a response from the company on the pictures and video I sent them. I have security cameras and just watched them standing around goofing off. I even had to fix things after they left. Totally sub par performance with no cares given by the management.

The second instance my home warranty sent them out due to a broken water main. They told me it would be 1600 to fix even if I did the digging. Called a second company who did the work for 250 since I did the digging. And the sales staff were quite rude when I asked for a quote without them doing the digging. It was just a bad experience all around.
