I had a leaking pipe from the kitchen clean out of my rental in Alameda & called JD Plumbing. John came out the same day to repair the leaking pipe.

A day later, the soil next to the repaired pipe appeared to be wet, John came to investigate & quickly determined a leak in the clay pipe. He cut the clay pipe to install a union & we thought we were done.

When John returned a couple of days later to check on the fix, he noticed new wet soil. John dug out around the remaining line to another clean out, under a concrete walkway & another 5 feet, just to discover yet another section of the clay pipe leaking. He replaced the entire section of damaged pipe with cast iron.
I truly appreciate John for hard work, being persistent & knowledgeable. I found him to friendly, trustworthy & honest.
I will definitely call John for any maintenance & repair for my rental property as well as my own home.

Plumber Jon....cause thats what my wife and I call him, is the best. My wife and I live in an apartment, and our landlord will always call Jon when there is an issue, and it brings us joy to know he will be on the job.

He has worked with us 4-5 times now on different issues, big and small and he is hands down the best plumber I have had in years. Knowledgable, quick, listens to me rant and complain. He give us comfort with these words, ""I know exactly what that is, I got you, dont worry.""

He is efficient, clean, and tells you want he needs to do and why. He's the guy to call, Im not kidding...Thanks Jon, if you're reading this.

Jon came by to look at a mysterious plumbing leak in my house. The problem and solution ended up being quite a bit more complicated than originally hoped, but Jon stuck with the job and implemented a tough solution. He worked for a fair price and put in a high quality solution that involved running a huge cast iron pipe on the outside of our old house. Would recommend his work!

i'm always suspicious of businesses that will not give you a price quote for what I am sure is a very common service and this is one of those businesses.

JD did great I recently remodeled my house house he helped with the kitchen, ice maker, stove bathroom dual sink moved my toiled from one side of the bathroom to the other and installed a new shower. It was hard to get a plumber in with the timing for trying to move in before the new year. Big help thanks Jon!

We had three or four good experiences with JD plumbing, but this last time was very different. We called him several times because the toilet repair he had done didn't work, but he totally ghosted us. I see several other reviews that reveal the same pattern. This plumber needs to guarantee his work and respond to his messages.

I tried to replace my kitchen faucet and could not get the bolt holding the unit to the sink to move. I bought and returned several special tools finally cutting off everything but the bolt hold the faucet body firmly to the sink.
I called JD plumbing and he can out that day! Yeah he got it off in no time and installed the new faucet as part of the call!!
