Recommended Customer Reviews

Friendly service, responded quickly, gave honest assessment and reasonable charge. Will be using them for future plumbing needs.

Josh & Sean from JBC Plumbing were AMAZING!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Professional, experienced, knowledgeable and friendly!

I rarely post a review. I have used many different plumbing companies and I have to say JBC Plumbing is one of the best! They are easy to schedule work and they get the job done correctly and quickly the first time. I was most impressed with Ryan who always cleaned up afterwards. I highly recommend them.

JBC came from Kapolei to Mililani within a half-hour of my call. I was at work, my wife was home by herself. The guys (I never learned their names) were courteous to her, completed the necessary repairs. in less than an hour (including a side trip to get parts) and charged a reasonable fee for their services. I would recommend JBC Plumbing to anyone, and will not hesitate to call them again when I need a plumber, either on short notice or for a scheduled job.

I haven't even received the 'home service' yet but wanted to take a moment to write a nice review for the Owner, Clarissa who helped me on the phone. It's on my intention list for the rest of the year to make an effort to recognize people & business's I think are amazing or go above and beyond (which can be hard to find these days ;). My landlord has set up a service call to this company and when I called to set up the appointment Clarissa was so warm and multi-tasking working from home with kids in the background as I could hear them. This does not bother me... 1) I'm a Mom 2) These are the times and I commend people who are still working hard, especially small Biz owners --- and those Moms with children working from home! When I asked her how many kids she had she said ""8""! Aaaaamaaaaazing! She was very professional (even with kids asking her questions in the background ;) and tried to truly accommodate my needs even short-staffed with an employee out with Covid. These are the times we need to support small Hawaii Businesses! Kuddos to JBC Plumbing for still trying to strive during these economically hard times! Keep it going! Mahalo Nui! ~ Tamara

JBC plumbing is da best. Excellent service and quick response to your plumbing issues. We also used them in two different remodeling jobs and they were great. Plan to use them again as we move forward with next remodeling project.

Called JBC plumbing out for another repair not related to the first time I called and well they kept up to their standards! Amazing! I will continue to use them for plumbing services!

Had irrigation and water main pipe repair that needed to be re-fixed due to a leak. Josh (Owner) and his brother Matt ( repair guy) was very professional and accommodating. Because the repair was done by a guy that didn't do the job correctly, they were able to completely redo the old repair and secure both pipe lines and add cut off vavles for in case of emergencies. I definitely recommend JBC Plumbing. They honor their commitment to guaranteeing the satisfaction of their work. I appreciate the fix Matt.

The technicians were great but when it came down to paying my $145 hourly rate which is what I was quoted went to $366 after one hour and 10 minutes of work. Definitely not okay with that. Straight robbery. In response to owner: We messaged that we had two toilets that were malfunctioning, and that we also wanted an overall inspection of the plumbing in the house. Any reasonable person would foresee that something else might arise if we're asking for an inspection. Your exact message back to me was ""Hi, we charge 145 an hour plus a 35 dollar dispatch. Please let us know if you will like to schedule. Thank you"". Nowhere in that do you say ""we charge 145 per project"" or ""we charge 145 per item that needs repair"". You said 145 per hour, and we understood 145 per hour and so that's the information with which we chose to proceed. We scheduled and price wasn't discussed further until work was done and you hit us with a bill that was more than double what you said. Your example that you gave is completely different in circumstance, as a mechanic would list out different services and give quotes for each service. You gave an hourly rate. You're literally describing a bait and switch situation. The situation is more like: Walmart hires a cashier for 20/hr. They agree on set price. Employee shows up to work and rings up a customer. When they ring up a second customer, they expect to be paid 40/hr. Doesn't make sense, right?

I had scheduled an appointment with JBC Plumbing because my pipes would make really loud noises every time I ran the washer. Then 2 days before my scheduled appointment, my toilets started backing up. I called again to see if they could make my appointment earlier, and fortunately they were able to bump it up to the next day. When the plumber came to my house, I explained to him about the noises coming from my pipes when the washer is running. He said, ""that's called water banging and it's not a plumbing issue, that's an appliance issue. You need to call someone to repair the washer."" So that was never fixed. Then he snaked my pipes, and of course nothing came out and my pipes were ""clean"". He did change a small section of the pipe under my outside sink where he was running the machine to clean the pipes, which took him about 10 minutes to do. Since they are paid by the hour and it wasn't an hour yet, I asked him to look at the toilet because it was leaking around the base of it when we were plunging it the day before when it was backing up. He said that's normal, and happens when toilets are backed up and are being plunged. I said ok, and asked him to look at my shower faucet handles because it drips when the water turns on. He started to unscrew it and said that the faucets were stuck so he doesn't want to try to fix it now and break it because then it would be a huge fix (which I understood) In conclusion, my bill was $238, the water banging is still occurring, my toilet has backed up 1x since he left, and I called an appliance repair man who checked out my washer, and of course he said ""your appliance is fine, it's a plumbing issue"". Very disappointed.
