Jacot Plumbing was recommended to us by AAA. I am not big on dealing with plumbers as they tend to upsell everything. Mike Weil really worked with us and did not try to force us into any other ""repairs."" He came out and fixed a leak that we have had with minor disruption to our house. Other plumbers told us it will take 2 - 3 days where it took Mike literally 3 hours to fix the leak, install new fixtures and proceed to replace our water heater. He was patient and answered all of my mom's questions. The company's free checklist on the house is great too. He pointed where things may go at some point and recommends that we change them.

This is my second experience with Jacot. The first time was years go when I noticed water in the carpet of a closet. The insurance company sent various people to deal with the problem and Jacot was the plumbing company they sent. At the time I remember thinking that they were very knowledgeable and actually cared about what I was going through. This time I noticed water in the bedroom and I dealt with Art. It was on a Sunday and I showed him where the water was. He asked me some questions, looked at the appropriate areas and determined that the cause was a leaky water heater. He said that since it only took him 10 minutes and he didn't really have to do anything there would bed no charge for the service call. He informed me how much it would be to replace the water heater and said if I wanted it done he could do it for me but there was no pressure. When the insurance company came out they verified Art's diagnosis and started the drying out process. During the drying out process I noticed water in another room. Art came out again and spent a few hours trying to find that problem (extending to after 7pm during the Christmas season) before deciding he would have to do a slab leak check. Again no charge for this visit but we would get charged for the test on the next visit. Art was very pleasant at all times and patiently answered every question. He's been in the business a long time and knows his stuff. Based on my previous experience with Jacot it seems they do hire good people for the long term. I did have Jacot do some other work so I know they aren't the cheapest (and not the most expensive) but you get what you pay for and I'm recommending Jacot to everyone I know.

They were both extremely helpful and very professional at their job. They represent the plumbing industry at the highest level of professionalism. I will call on Jacot Plumbing Service when ever I have a need for a professional serviceman.

I am so thankful for Art M. that came out and had to correct work from another plumber that installed piping incorrectly, was not up to code and was doing things unsafe. Art came out to give us a quote and was upfront and honest about everything. He walked us through what he was going to do and what he needed to purchase to complete this job correctly. He was professional and well educated to current codes. After getting a few other bids we called him back to schedule the job. He came a few days later to complete a PE piping install. He was professional and educated in his field. I had a million questions and he answered each one with patience and knowledge. Every step of the way he communicated with me about what he was doing and why he was doing it. After he was completed he cleaned up and I actually mean he cleaned up everything in his work area. He again went over what he did and prepared our bill. He read out what he did as it was written down and took care of the billing. I am so glad that he was able to help us. I felt safe with his work and his background knowledge of what he was doing. After the service was completed we received a thank you card from the Jacot company which I thought was the icing on the cake to great customer service. Good customer service is so rare these days that it makes it special when you get it. Open communication with a customer is key because we (the public) hire people that should be experts in their fields and knowledgeable of what they are doing. Art was both of these things and I would recommend him a million more times.
